I am hoping to get qualified and get both of those (one for me to use & one for Scott), but I doubt we'll pass the credit check unfortunately.![]()

i have an LG phone (forgot which model #), and i love it.
it's got lots of functions, and it's voice recognition is really cool!
just my two cents.
LG. i know a guy that works with motorola in korea and he told me that korean phones are at least 1.5 years ahead of motorola technology wise.

I haven't used the LG, but both my brother & I are satisfied with the Motorola V400 (same as the V505, but without Bluetooth).
I don't like Motorola and I haven't used LG.
Nokia and Samsung are on top of my list. In this case, I would go with Motorola.

I have an LG c1300 and I really don't like it. Lousy audio and a bad user interface.
Maybe the higher-end models are better, but I sure would look at an alternative to LG. (Mine was free when I re-upped with Cingular.)
If Korean technology is 1.5 years ahead of Motorola, then why does Moto have more features than LG?I don't understand why LG won't make a phone with Bluetooth. I'd say 1/3 of the people I know use LG, 1/3 use Motorola, and the remaing 1/3 are divided amongst Samsung, Sanyo, etc. Most everyone is happy with their phone -- it's the unhappy ones you need to pay attention to.
And closer...
Bleh. Credit checks suck. So does paying $800 for a deposit. So won't be getting either. Not unless we somehow get huge Christmas bonuses.
(Being sick sucks, too. I am going to bed. And it's only 10:00.)

AT&T tried this on me before and I just walked out. I had PacBell (before it became Cingular) for at least 3 years with no credit problem whatsoever. I walked into BB and wanted to switch to AT&T. The CSR told me that I need to deposite $500 and I just walked out.

Sprint Usually have lenient credit checks.. try there
T-mobile will be second
