DVI and HDMI cables - $10 (instead of $120)

    Linky

I stole this from FatWallet, and for discussion on quality and store reliability, here's the FW thread

$6.50 for 10 foot DVI cable
    $11.75 for a 10 foot HDMI cable

a 10 foot Monster HDMI cables is $120 at Circuit City.... yikes

Sweet find! I guess I'll have to return the 2 cables that I paid too much for at BB...

We found 3 foot HDMI cable at Best Buy for $70, so we snagged it yesterday because we weren't going to pay $120 for Monster. Now we're heading back to Best Buy to return this $70 in favor of getting a whole bunch of HD/DVI cables for $45 shipped in 2 business days

Just so u know those Monster cables at BestBuy are garbage compared to what you can get for half the price. I would be weary of a $10 DVI cable as the quality of the cable can make a big difference...

*cough* If you had read the 2nd link I posted, you'd see the comments on quailty *cough*

I'm kidding, but the quality remarks are that these cables work fine. If you're a videophile, obviously you have the budget to support getting better cables, but these will work if you just need an interface

I just bought a DVI (10 foot) cable at Best Buy for $53, the cheapest they had, because it's the only connection I can use between computer and HDTV, so I'd rather get one for $10 in this case... bahhh, I'm having a cable nightmare!

I don't mean to sound like a cheapass, but you guys are paying $120 for a cable!!! Even $50 for a cable is friggin ridiculous unless it's gold or something. I was at BB and they had a 15" LCD Wall Mount for $85. It was nothing more than some nuts, bolts, and metal. Absofrigginludicrous!!

Some things are just overpriced considering how simple they are.

I made a projector mount out of electrical conduit fittings and a small piece of sheetmetal for around ten bucks. The cheapest I could find already made was approx. $50.
