    SS...a lonely Christmas Eve night.

My family just left, the dishes are done, and the kids are asleep. It's times like this I hate being alone. Another suckage, my daughter tonight just "got" that Grandma is going to die. I was so hoping to postpone this talk, but I guess it's time. Wish me luck tomorrow.

On the other hand, We had a great dinner, with lots of laughs and happiness, my kids have gifts to open in the morning, and I'm pretty sure Santa is on his way to visit. Merry Christmas my friends!

i think everyone has up and down feelings during Christmas. today, by mistake, my Mom told one of her grandchildren that the gift she was giving him was from Grandma and Grandpa, when Grandpa - my Father, is dead. it twinged my heart because it is really hard to not have him here on Christmas day.

so don't feel alone Kim. we've all been there.

Thanks all, I stopped feeling sorry for myself and counted all the good things in my life. The good way out numbered the bad, so I feel much better today. Plus, I got an extremely thoughtful and unexpected gift from the X and the kids.

Hey Infinitenothing, I made some homemade moonpies, and waited all day for ya. I finally had to give the cookies to my brother, cousin, and their gang of starving bachelors.
