Seeing that I only live a couple of miles up the road from Fry's, I get over there from time to time. I try to watch the ads for things of particular interest.

I work just across Farnsworth from that outlet mall. Watched them clear the forest and put up the parking lot as I drove to/from work every day....

i bet that was fun....that single lane for the toll for the offramp/onramp is ridiculous, it really causes some serious traffic problems

Thanks for the tip, Markel! I never see the ads either-- they're never in the Tribune or Daily Herald. (At least not the editions I get.)

I'm at the north end of 53/355 so I'm not that far, but I just don't seem to get there as often as I'd like.

Oh dear god... Someone said Chicagoland... It's like Chicago is a mystical place where Prince Freezing my ass off while waiting for the bus in winter and Princess sweating to death in the summer live.

I do miss the fire flies, erm lightning bugs though. Was a good week to live in Chicago.

There's a major re-work of that exit ramp. They turned the right shoulder into an exit lane, added a second toll lane, and are in the process of fixing everything up. The one thing that disappoints me is that they don't appear to be adding an I-Pass only exit.

This needs to be in the "Region Specific Deals" forum.
