A Thriftstore recycled CompUSA desktop with a blazing fast 200Mhz Pentium MMX processor, with memory upgrade from 32 to 128MB EDO RAM and a massive 2GB HDD. CD-ROM optical drive with integrated graphics and sound. OS upgrade from '95 to ME. Monitor?... a Walmart purchased KDS 17" flatscreen CRT with Dial-up internet access through Walmart Connect. Thing works well without any newer application software... but So Slooooooooowww. Anyway, I really don't know anything about what I bought in terms of it's potential. All I know is it's crazy fast. I want to keep the "trike" for my Mom's practice box, but have no idea how to wirelessly connect and share the internet access through Comcast cable. No clue about the hardware required, set-up and all that. It's funny, the retailers talk about what a great deal they have for a wireless whatever, but they don't really explain the process. Guess it's like TV's now... if you have to ask what it does, you've been on your deserted island way too long. That's me in the computer world, but I'm willing to learn 'cause I love it so much.
