How about some points to make up for it Rick?![]()

I concur. While stuck in traffic at Sorrento Valley/I-5 entrance, Rick's Word Of The Day was announced @ 0848 hrs. as "ORGANIZE" and Rick Rewards Listener of The Day is: "STEPHANIE TAYLOR"! CONGRATULATIONS! Stephanie, and don't forget to give KFMB a call for your 10k points.Originally Posted by captain_drew

No 5-6 PM Word??
I thought I was listening the whole hour .. but did not hear one!
I was away, just got home...so I couldn't listen. For the 5 p.m. word it is usually right after the news ends and the Savage program starts.

That and right after Savage ends and the 6 PM News starts. . . I was “on it” for both . . as well as the rest of the hour .. and did not hear any Rick’s Rewards Word . .nada . . zip . .zilchOriginally Posted by Itsme

10,000 Point Winner: Nancy Stewart
Seems like less and less of the crew you can count on are posting on FatWallet so I need to become a respected part of this community also. So I will start by saying I can confirm Feature.

Welcome aboard!! Thanks .. confirm: FEATUREOriginally Posted by YoungAmerican

Ok question for you Captain Drew,Originally Posted by captain_drew
when you say it worked does that mean that you used the word online but yet you did not receive the email?![]()
There are sometimes that people submit email codes on here that I "do not" get emails for, and then there are sometimes that they submit them on here and I do. I just want to know if I am the only one that this happens to, or if they randomly select people to not share newsletters with to see if they are point sharing. The emails that I don't receive I don't use the codes for. (And yes I am signed up for the newsletters).![]()

Regardless that "it worked" for him, you should not enter any email/newsletter KFMB codes...unless you receive them yourself.
He problably would not want to post a response to you publicly that he did not receive the email newsletter, but used the code anyway. N![]()
o sense in drawing attention to himself by 'prying eyes' that may/may not be monitoring these forums.

I got the NewLetter, input the Word (it worked) then I got the Forum message about the word and was confirming that was the word -and it worked.Originally Posted by sparklet81

I never do enter codes that I don't receive on my own. I just wanted to know if other had this happen with them on email/newsletter codes as well. I wanted to know if people noticed that others were getting newsletters that they were not, or if it was just me...Originally Posted by Paniolo

for the very reason you mention, email codes can be a trap
(although we may be giving them ideas they haven't though of)
there is little or no value to posting them here as

no one should submit it unless they subscribe to the newsletter
since they could be traced

don't want these guys stealing your account and points
Sparklet - I use to run into that problem as well. I would get it every once in a while. I even verified that my account info showed I had checked the box to get the newsletter. I still got it sporadically.
I finally solved the problem by signing up for Rick's newsletter outside of the Rewards program: http://www.760kfmb.com/newsletter/index.php
I now get it every day like clockwork
