    APC 725VA UPS/10' USB Cable/Surge Bundle $9.99 AR @ OfficeDepot

From the weekly sales flyer, last page, SKU #420808. Really a cheap price for a brand name 725 VA UPS. The UPS comes with a 10’ USB cable and a surge protector. Might be in-store only, but when I ordered on-line for in-store pick-up, it showed up in my cart for $59.99. After a $50 MIR, final price is $9.99.

The price changes AFTER you select "pick up at store" and select a store. It did for me. I'll pick it up this afternoon (or not) and post what I find.

Go to www.officedepot.com and click on rebate center on the right side of the page. From there you can search by either SKU# of manufacturer. The rebate for Alaska and Hawaii runs a week later and is in-store only.

I’m also picking mine up today. I let you know if a rebate slip prints out at the register.

    Direct link to rebate form.

    Shifty Bummer!

I called the local OD to see if they had my order ready. They informed me that they never had any of the UPS’s in stock. They said they called other nearby OD’s to fill the order but and they too were all out-of-stock as well. They promised to make an adjustment to my credit card since it was already charged (and on Sunday morning to boot).

They probably only had half a dozen to begin with, and five were most likely set aside for friends and relatives. The remaining one went to the person in the front of the line when the store opened. The rest were just S.O.L.

But I can't be too upset. This is pretty much the norm with the office supply stores. Extremely limited quantities. Hope everyone else has better luck.

This morning I placed an order to pick up at a store near my work. The Office Depot web site didn't complain at all (like they usually do if the store has no stock on an item). I drove over there at lunch and they tell me that my order has been cancelled (no stock). No other stores have any as well. Bummer.
