God of War - highest rated PS2 game EVER

    http://www.gamerankings.com/

I played the demo at Circuit City and watched "the making of" show on G4TV. I think the PS2 is hardware crap by today's standards, but the years of work that went into this game really show.

My friend bought a PS2 just for GT4, I don't think I'll be a PS2 (period) for God of War, but I am trying to get my friends to buy it for their PS2's

    Anyone own/rent/something?
    And closer...

I saw the same making of, and that game looked so beautiful. It almost made me want to shell out $40 for a game. Then I came to my senses.

I played the demo for God of War...
I really dont see the hype. Ninja Gaiden was better.
In God of War when you finish the bosses off at the end, your just button matching like DDR... its childish.

So, I bought this game now that it's only $20 and it's AMAZING. This is hands down the best puzzle action/adventure game of it's ever made. So beautiful looking, so fluid in it's movement and just non-stop ass kicking. Even supports Progressive Scan!
