Anybody know where I can find Classical Music remixed with some chill Hip-Hop Beats?

I'm looking to find music like on "You Got Served" when the other main dancer guy (whatever) was shooting some hoops and there was a hip-hop remix of Fur Elise.

Those types of songs would be sweet. Thanks for the help!

probably not quite what you're looking for, but for example, off the top of my head i remember xzibit rhymed over a sample of Ravel's "Pavane" in his song "Paparazzi," warren g had a song called "Prince Igor" with a sample from the opera of the same name, and tons of people have used samples fom Pachelbel's "Canon."

I've been looking all over Amazon and there's nothing along these lines...

Is Beethoven or Bust an album? Or just that you like Beethoven?

Yeah, I used to have something like that. It was called "Slammin' Amadeus" by Baron Grimm. I think that's at least 10 years old, so maybe it sounds dated.

I remember watching a live at the apollo with a girl violinist with a dj mixin up some phatty beats. the stuff the violinist was playing was original composition, and it sounded really good. Of course I never was able to figure out who it was or where I could find more of it.... :-(

Miri Ben-Ari just released an album, sounds like what you're describing.

Here's what your looking for. A group called Sweetbox. Their whole concept is "beats to Classical."

Two of their major hits were Everything's Gonna be Alright and Life is Cool, which sample Bach's Air on the G String and Pachelbel's Canon, respectively.

Then of course you've got Coolio's C U When U Get There, which also samples Pachelbel's Canon.

And Vitamin C's Graduation song. Geez...everyone samples Pachelbel's Canon. Maybe that's why I hate that song so much.

I don't think this'll stop anything though - the better you idiot-proof a system, the more impressive the idiot becomes.
