Okay, so here's the story. I'm house sitting at my neighbors place which is a couple of houses down the street. I go into their back yard to water some plants etc. Suddenly I heard a sound coming from the back of the yard. To my surprise on the other side of the fence in the back were two very very very young kittens. I took them back to my house and put them into my mother's care (not a great idea if you're human, but she likes cats). The End.
But not really, three days later, I thought I heard the mewing again, but I didn't see another kitten on the other side of the fence. I went inside. I went back out about a half hour later and heard the mewing again, I listened closer and it seemed like the meows were coming from above me. Lo and Behold, with the help of a maglight and a ladder, I climb up onto the people in back's garage roof and under a cypress branch I find one more kitten, straight black. (no pics yet of this one) Poor little guys haven't even opened their eyes yet. Now to find homes for these guys. We may keep one.

and remember, don't mistake my old age for maturity. Just because I grow old does not mean I grow up.
