    Good Star Wars Fan Film

    http://www.ifilm.com/ifilmdetail/2669337

Check out the link above. Let us know what you think.

I personally thought it was pretty good but it might be better if I could find a higher res version of the film.

    Enjoy.

It does have awesome graphics. I want to find a higher res version but I have been too lazy to search for it yet.

A good friend of one of my co-workers made the movie. They had a big "premier" of the movie down near DC with lights, limos, etc.... My coworker and his wife are both listed many times in the credits.

Just an FYI to you Star Wars fans but this film was featured on CBS news last week when the new Star Wars debuted. They even interviewed the producer and one of the writers. If you haven't checked it out yet it is worth it.

I haven't downloaded this yet - is it comparable with Blacksheep Squadron's Troops or the sequel, IMPs?
    I think over again
    My small adventures, my fears.
The small ones that seemed so big,
For all the vital things I had to get and to reach.

And yet there is only one great thing, the only thing:

To live to see the great day that dawns,
And the light that fills the world.

I noticed the Acting was bad.. But They also probably werent on a Budget to get any "Big named" Actors that have actually dont Live action for a "Movie" before. . .. So I gave them the benefit of the doubt..

Heh... everyone's a critic. I bet you could do better... right?

But seriously... look at it as a whole. The whole production and setup is pretty dayuum good for somone not affiliated with Lucasfilms. From a special effects perspective, I'd like to know what they used to make it look authentic.

It definitely doesn't look like most of the "homemade SW crap" that usually hits the "independent films".

do my smilies not mean anything to you? my "terrible actors" blurb was said in good jest. i'm more or less making fun of all the people who complain about all the "terrible acting" and "cheesy dialogues" in Star Wars movies. as if they were depending on Star Wars to win, nay, sweep the Academy Awards for best actor/actress and supporting actor/actress.

Sorry man.. my workplace blocks the smilies (dayuum filters) therefore I can't see them when I view G|A. (Good thing I know the codes to my favorite smilies huh? ) But honestly, I didn't know if you were serious or not.

    I take it back then.

The acting was very bad (Vader's movements were way overdone) ... BUT I'm still very impressed by the effects, costumes, and overall recreation of the Star Wars universe.

I still think Troops is the best in terms of 'fan film' acting.
