    awesome...i was on vacation, OBX, NC. i was telling cheapie, i could be a professional vacationer. i had a great relaxing time - 'lots of beach time.

    and i went fishing a couple of times and could only catch this ugly thing. Bernie, (which was an appropriate name ),the fishing guide, said it is called a Skate. it kept trying to bite.

    we were in Duck, NC, so yep, very closeby to where you vacation.
    and this is off-season there so all the rentals are like 1/2 price. a group of us rented a huge 3 story fully furnished beach house with a ship's watch, heated pool, hot tub, and all towels/linens included for $850/wk.
