Few questions, where do you live (state/local laws can vary on this sort of thing)

Where did you get it (local dealers laws can vary)

Is there anything mechanically wrong with the car?

Also this should probably be in auto.

I am living in Glendale CA, it's with BMWFS and nope, there is nothing wrong with it!
I love the 325ci that I had but I wanted to trade it in for a 2005 one, they didn’t give me a good deal on that and instead they offered this X3 with a reasonable pmnts! I don’t know what happened, after 2 days of driving I started not liking and now I don’t even want to drive it! I know, it sounds crazy but I don’t like the way it looks!
I went back to the dealer and told the sales man the situation and he gave me a ridicules deal on the 325Ci, with higher payments and higher down because I am trading a lease!
I wish I had never traded my car in! I am open for any suggestions you might have! PLEASE

How can I delete this thread so I can start a new one in the auto?
    Thank you

Don't worry about deleting it, it will be moved or not. Not a huge issue.

What you can do is try to have someone legally take over your lease.

yup swaplease is not a bad deal. however, you probably will have to wait until someone decides to pickup the rest of your lease.
Typically, trading a lease is the same as selling a car to the dealership. They rip you off. You will always get negative equity because of that. I traded in a 325i for a A4 and ended up with 1k of negative equity. That was the best deal i could get (besides swapping leases) The best advice i can give you is that if you want to make sure you don't have any negative equity, you have to use something like swaplease or actually go out and find someone that is qualified to take over your lease, BMW financial will have to approve that person, and that's assuming the are willing to let someone else take over. Otherwise, i would try different dealerships to see which one is willing to give you the most for your X3. Not all dealers offer the same amount. Cerritos Acura lowballed me, Circle Audi gave me 1k more than Acura did. So I went with them. So shop around and look around, it could save you a few thousand if you REALLY want to get rid of that X3. I don't blame you for wanting to do that, X3 is one yucky car.

Oh another way to do it is to actually BUY the car (you can do it at any time) and the resell it. You will have to pay it in full, though. I'm guessing since you're leasing it, you may or may not have 20-30k laying around to buy BMW.
Anyway, good luck. Hope it works out.

It looks like a good deal if you want to pick up a lease with around a year left. I am the kind of person who can't stick with a car more than a year or two so maybe this would be good for me to look into.

    Wink

As far as I know the person that is leasing the car is responsible for all the damage that might happen to it. Then I think they fix the car and give to the next leaser!

Well, I guess today I am going back to my dealer and trading this X3 for a 325Ci. just pray that this will work! I know I need to put down and my payments are going to be higher cause it's a coupe , but hey I will be HAPPY again driving it and I can't wait for that to happen! just pray for me so I can leave the dealer with the car I love!

Sounds good. I still prefer the e46 to the e90. I would like to say, though, that your posts in this thread are kinda difficult to read. Why not stick to the standard font?

I also like the E46 look better than the E90 but the hp comes with the E90 325 is more appealing.

Heh...true. The "active steering" that can override steering input as well as the lack of temperature gauge really annoy me. Adding rear AC and cupholders was a good move, though. I'm just glad they didn't Bangle (or vanHooeydonk) the e90 as much as the 5's and 7's.
