    that's awesome!

where the heck is that brewed?

i must admit to buying beers just for the label sometimes... couldn't pass up the monty python holy grail ale (and it was quite good) ... then there is a series of beer with gorgeous lables, i've completely forgotten the brewer now, but they have goblins playing fiddles, faeries, etc... and i think they were good. don't remember, really

you're probably thinking of Wychwood Brewery Company. They make Hobgoblin, Fiddler's Elbow, and Circle Master among many others. I'm not much of a fan of their brews. I think they get light struck in the clear bottles and you get a fake, soury malt flavor that shouldn't be there.

BTW, that is actually a bottle of Molson. It's part of their twin label program. You can read more here.

yeh, i knew it was a Molson Canadian. i drank that one in the picture and then some. the twin labels are actually put on after bottling by a marketing agency. as of this post there are 232 different labels. i believe they are open to suggestions for label sayings. all 232 labels can be viewed on their site.

My fiance has me do that occassionally for cigars she likes the labels for. Bonus for me, like I'd turn down any...I keep just about every label I smoke, and every so often, she gets enough and frames the labels in a mat for me.

I'll have to try the holy grail ale. I've seen it at a few stores around here recently.

yeah, i never know why ppl bottle in clear... budweiser, fine. that stuff doesn't stay on the shelf long enough to have a problem, i guess.

the ones i had were magically unskunky... just like about 1 in every 20 or so heinekens are magically unskinky...
