Heh Has anyone here in L.A. heard about the new Ryan Seacrest 'Contest'?

    Well?

I'm very tempted... but I need a getaway driver. Hey Nija, what are you doing later?

Because of our forum rules, I'm posting a non-descript link to the 'contest' : http://assistantatlas.blogspot.com/
    I think over again
    My small adventures, my fears.
The small ones that seemed so big,
For all the vital things I had to get and to reach.

And yet there is only one great thing, the only thing:

To live to see the great day that dawns,
And the light that fills the world.

So a bunch of you people are Ryan Seacrest fans?! Come on! The guy bought his star for chrissake! There are many people far more worthy of this than Ryan-f***ing-Seacrest!

    Anyone with me on this?

Those hollywood stars are more of a advertising tool for the hollywood strip than for the person receiving it. The city is trying to generate hype and have people stop by to generate money. Every once in a while they give a star to someone like ryan seacrest and people come by and it's on the news. No biggie imo.

What sucks is that I don't Don Cheadle has a star to himself yet. Stupid hollywood city folks.

I see you've been listening to Kevin & Bean

    I'll drive.

And I've heard, that almost anyone (sem-famous) can buy a star on the walk of fame, which I think is disgusting.

nice find Kevster. I didn't hear about that.

As for Seacrest buying his star, please explain. I agree he is a no-talent jerk-off, but did he literally buy the star or are you just being sarcastic?

i believe that in order to get a star, you have to put money down. there was a huge controversy about this when some guy from the original Star Trek didnt get a star.

Scotty didn't get one I think. He didn't get a few awards or recognitions I think. Could be wrong.

Are you sure, the stars aren't paying for the star itself and placement?
