Thread: What to do in texas....

    What to do in texas....

    planning a vacation for later in the year. We were going to visit my parents north of Austin then head south. i know there's the river walk in san antonio...but what else is there to do....

    we were thinking of hitting the beach maybe padre island....

    any thoughts or suggestions?

    if you see a Pappa's Seafood, go in and have their seafood fondue. it is basically a cheesy seafood dip (not a real fondue) with lots of good seafood in it and served with cheesy garlic bread for dipping. i know they have them in Houston, not sure about anywhere else.

    Also, if I was going down there some of these places would be on my list:

    Bitter End Brewery and Bistro

    Lovejoy's Taproom
