Question What kind of Video card does this computer use??

This is a slim gateway desktop with a AGP port inside.. When I talked to a Gateway technician, He showed me this card..

    http://accessories.gateway.com/Acces...139_ProdDetail

It looks like a regular AGP card but I am really confused. I dont want to spend $100 from the gateway website... I am sure I can find one cheaper than this.. But the problem is I dont know what kind of AGP card it is..

That link says it's a Jaton GeForce FX5700LE 128MB TV AGP/DVI/DUAL VGA; I've never heard of the brand name Jaton but I'm sure any nVidia drivers will work with it (since it's a GeForce card). It looks like a regular AGP video card to me...

Buy.com has it for about $95: http://www.buy.com/retail/Product.as...omp&adid=17662 but you could use any AGP card you want to.
I add new pictures to my photo gallery pretty regularly. You can see them here if you are interested: http://www.pbase.com/jeffryz

Jaton is an off brand card, something similar to PCChips mobo's back in the day (before ECS). You can usually find them in local PC shops that try to find the lowest budget parts to slap into systems and still claim parity to higher end retail cards.

Personally, I'd go with something a bit more mainstream and known quality. Any AGP 8X card will do.
