Thread: alladvantage completely ripped me off

    Unhappy

ok guys, i am going to make this short and sweet. over the past 9 months or so i have been an alladvantage member, i have gotten them around 9,000 users in my downline.. my checks kept going up and up.. from 750$, to $1,800 then in May $3,035.. well as most of you AllAdvantage users might know.. they have claimed that people have been cheating and all.. I myself have not cheated.. but I am effected by this.. just read below and come to your own conclusion..

With regard to your May earnings, originally reported as
USD 3035.84, they have been adjusted to USD 187.57.
The simulated surfing accounts among your direct or extended
referrals collectively caused an invalid addition of USD
    2848.27 to your reported balance.

is this a cheap way to try saving their company from going bankrupt? this is really sad, i encourage you all to discontinue using alladvantage.

That is an incredibly high percentage to take away. That is seriously jacked up. I doubt that many people were illegally doing it. Only way is if some of your referrals had that sisterhood of angels program and each made 99 accounts. I would love to be getting taken up the a** like you are by aa and still be making $300. But it is pretty sickening that they tell you they are taking $2000 away.

As long as there are cheaters out there and many of us continue to condone it, this will keep on happening.

Man, that is a lot of cash they taking from you. I wonder if they still get the money paid from their advertisers though. Also, you might want to ask them to prove that your referrals cheated. Maybe everyone who surfed exactly 25 hours was considered a cheater. They are getting pretty desperate. Without an IPO, little revenue is coming to pay them. Hey, you can always start again using CashFiesta, because it seems impossible to cheat with that program. Try it and you will see why.

you think that's bad? they've had my account on hold since may. I just got an email saying that instead of killing my account, they will just take my may payment instead. that's about $80 for me. I'm appealing cuz I didn't friggin cheat. Cheat my ass.

i only had about 60 direct refferals of my 9000.. i just signed up random people i would meet chatting, also friends offline. a few of my direct refferals ran a few large websites and had the AA banner on them..

i also emailed AA, and got a pathetic Automated reply. I also emailed a Staff Reporter from www.sfgate.com. She wrote a great article about AllAdvantage, check it out at http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/articl...12/BU90515.DTL

She also said for me to send any people I know of that got ripped off the same way by AllAdvantage, and have them email her at [email protected] . Just give an explanation on how much they owed you and how much they decided to pay you. Eventually she plans to write a story on it...

Once again I strongly hope that all of you discontinue using AllAdvantage. Especially because of the way they treated me and many of you. (the people that kept them in business). Thanks. Peace!

thanks aflex, definitely going to email her.

I just got one of their member advocacy surveys about their quality of service because I've been chatting with one of their advocacy members. Here's the email I got:
Our records indicate that you've been in contact with the
AllAdvantage Member Advocacy Team -- Sam Ladah, Steve

I got ripped out of $40, they said they would e-mail me, but didn't. The account was on suspension (Can't spell, so what?). Then they just took it away. With all the new programs, I'll just change over with the times...

I got an e-mail saying that my MAY earning of $65 were going to be completly taken away. I appealed. I received a reply. Here it goes

    Hello,

We have evaluated your response to the suspension of your AllAdvantage.com
account. AllAdvantage considers this a very serious matter. Under the terms of
our agreement with you, we are within our rights to cancel your account,
    effective immediately.

However, we will assume that you may not have realized the seriousness of your
actions. Therefore, instead of outright cancellation, we will take any balance
in your account -- since it is inappropriately obtained -- and void it. You will
be allowed to retain your membership and your referrals. As a matter of policy,
    we have recorded this incident.

We have recorded Viewbar surfing behavior associated with your account that is
consistent with the use of a program that simulates active surfing.

The surfing simulation program is called Fakesurf.exe. Our records indicate that
you used this program during the month of May for up to 60 minutes.

If you have any further explanation, please reply to this message and we will
    review your case again.

    Regards,
    Jami
    Community Protection Group

Now they are taking EVERYTHING away... My june & july earnings which total to about $80

I hope this company goes under... and into great debt.. Stupid company

I got the same deal from them for some other program they insist that i used to cheat for up to 60 mins.

I just went back to their website and read their new agreement, here are a few of my favorite parts.

    AGE RESTRICTIONS:
If you are under 13 years old and live in the United States, under 20 years old and live in Japan, or under 18 years old and live in any other activated country other than the United States or Japan, you need to obtain the consent of your parent(s) or guardian(s) before applying for the Viewbar Service. See our Parental Consent Form for instructions.

I feel sorry for those 20 year olds in Japan.

I think they must be doing a screen cap of what we're doing.

Such amounts will be deducted from accrued credits in your account until such time as your account balance equals zero. If You do not surf with the Viewbar window active for at least one hour within any 1-year period, your Membership will automatically lapse without notice and any accrued credits in your account will be deemed "unearned" and will be forfeited.

Now that they're not going to pay us for using their software, they will be charging us for NOT using it. What a great business plan.

Say you're stealing from a store, and they catch you stealing, are you gonna cry to them to let you keep what they cought you stealing? I don't think so.

but they only said he used it for 60 minutes.. trust me when i say that people that use fakesurf use it for longer than 60 minutes.

Ill bet he didnt even cheat.

What AllAdvantage is doing is trying to save money. If they were serious, they would cancel someone, but they dont really know so they just take your money away.

    Those weasels.

    Cheat em good.

So, is anyone going to continue the appeal process? I say that if they say you used it up to 60 mins then they should only take away your money for those 60 mins because you didn't cheat anymore than that right???

Jeez people take it easy, it's still money they're giving you. If AA never existed you would have never gotten money. Sure they jacked you of your hopes but hey, it's still some money you're getting. Not like it's real Hard work. Lighten up and get a job. hehe .

I gotta disagree with 1 part. It's not money we're getting, they're taking it away now. And if you keep on using their viewbar without cancelling your membership, they will deduct $2 from your future earnings.

I do have a job, full time student.

    **UPDATE**

Well, seems those a__holes at AA are at it again. I got this letter after my appeals letter:
    Therefore, instead of
outright cancellation, we have taken the June balance
in your account -- since it was obtained in violation
of our terms of service -- and voided it. You will,
however, be allowed to retain your membership and your
    referrals.

I did NOT cheat in JUNE. I did in may, but for not even that long. June was legit. My friend told me about a crackdown on fakesurf users, so I stopped it. This pissed me off more, so I wrote them a letter telling them to shove their company up their ass minus the vaseline. I told them that they can't survive screwing people like this...

I ended it with "don't bite the hand that feeds you"

    we'll see what happens...

    Talking

Send their advertisers a couple of cheat websites and tell them this is what people are doing and alladvantage is a scam for the advertiser.

They cheated me and I stopped using them 6 months ago. They took $200 from me and that was enough.
