Today was opening day at the Del Mar Races. No, I was working. This picture I took last year. In fact, I got there late and only had time for one race so this is the ONLY racing picture I got. I guess I have to ride up there again this year.

too bad your only race pic came out blurry. that bar distracts alot too. would have looked nice.
I had my old Nikon 4mp then. I was trying to get the scoreboard clear and the horses slightly blurred as they went past, but I think it tried to focus on the horses so the scoreboard was blurry too. I didn't get a chance to reshoot. I took this one with the new camera and it is much better:
With work and my Tour de France Updates I haven't had much time lately. I will be out of town next weekend so it will be August before I can get up there again. Racing season runs through Septembeer 7th this year.

Great pics even if they are blurry. I would of loved to have been at the races today, but alas... WORK messed that up. I hope you can get to the races soon and post some more pictures.
