How early did you get there?

A handicapped lady called in and said that she got to North County Fair really early, people cut in line in front of her, but she waited patiently. Instead of handing the tickets out to passing cars- which would seem to be an orderly process. The people with the tickets told everyone to "Run!"...she requires a cane to walk much less run so she didn't get tickets after waiting all morning (she did get tickets when she called in)

Thank you for the input I invisioned the party to be like JingleBall as thats the only J&J thing I've ever been to. So now it sounds like your trapped at a timeshare presentation waiting for your free BBQ and trip to Catalina on a tuesday.
Speaking of Jingleball, which I really like, they haven't mentioned it at all but did mention when they first moved they were still having Jingleball at this station..do you think this party is a smokescreen for the fact they are not having Jingleball, or are they having it? Great concert, good value, wonderful cause.

My friend got to North County Fair at 6 and there was a long line already, he said some people were there at 3am.

He left without trying to get the tickets.

Um...."North County" Fair is in North County. But I, too, was upset that they didn't come to the Westfield in O'Side...that was right on my way to work, but either way, there is no way I would have waited 3 or 4 hours to get tickets--even for J&J. The redial on my phone has been getting a lot of use since yesterday.

Dumbfounded, stop neffing... all of your posts are coming within minutes of each other, put all the responses in one, k? Makes it easier and it also cuts down on the neffing.

As for someone here being from the showgram, maybe, but I don't think that it's this Tom guy. Just seems too obvious to me.

Lots of folks on G|A post early in the AM.

Free booze....are you kidding. Jef already said they talked to the hotel to try and keep the drink prices lower. Also....no one under 21 will be admitted. That means no rug rats. LOL

Yes, and if this is you Little Tommy, then you obviously have read how many of us feel about the J&J show. AND since you know all of this, then when is your show going to take heed and get the show back on track. Also, while you are at it, there are way too many commercials in the morning. I switch over to another talk show and can listen to them for minutes on end before your commercials have ended.

Nope, I'm not him. Sorry. I haven't been called "little tommy" since I was about 2.

I do wish, however, I had his income. I hear it's in the 300K+ range.

The 300K+ range is close but try closer to 1 million dollars. He was making 300k almost 10 years ago.

Guaranteed Randy's response at the party will be that he's given it a lot of thought and it just wouldn't be the same if he used that free 2.5 carate $25,000 ring to show his love for Debbie. He'll decide to not take the ring and want to propose to Debbie on his own terms with a ring that he choses to represent their true love together. Give me a break! Use the money you saved by not having to buy the ring to MOVE OUT!!!!

According to the station that Kristen works at, she's leaving.

    "FAREWELL TO KRISTEN!
You're invited to join us in a farewell "mingler" for Kristen at Don Pablos in the Knoxville Center. Come by for a casual "goodbye party" for our Kristen starting at about 5:30pm Friday evening at the restaraunt located near the Knoxville Center mall..."

Oh great. Jerry is coming up with tombstone names. I knew it was only a matter of time before I heard him say "boobs" and "breasts".

I sure hope this isn't Christie's old engagement ring. Although, I wouldn't put it past Tommy at this point.

You are so SMART!!! That's totally what it is!! Everybody wins!

Randy and Debbie would NEVER want to use it, so of course it will be given away.

Tommy can get money from the station for it and the station just writes it off as a promotion.

Notice on (jeff's) Kristens radio site they have similar postings like Star's. i.e. the getting your Knoxvillian card and we have getting your San Diegan Card.

    ps what is "neffing"
