Also in Laura's Diary - she complains about her kids being brats. Well, let's see - no stability, get everything they want, loaded up with sugar, no consistency, stay up way too late, no boundaries - of course they are brats!!

Does she really think we hadn't figured it out? I don't even remember where she met Cree.Originally Posted by boris85
Not only that, but she screams at her daughter & with the insanity in the car, doesn't just turn around & go home? Everyone I know would've not even given the kids an option. It would've been straight home. To top it off, she took her "BABY" to the movie. Nice.Originally Posted by boris85
Classy! And they all thought it was funny when Bart showed his "junk." Good values Laura. Stop being their friend and start parenting. My kids would've been taken home and sent to their rooms for that behavior. But then Laura wouldn't have been able to make her grand appearance at the premiere. Selfish people create selfish kids. Is it just me or does Charlie seem a little immature? For their sake, let's hope Dave gets full custody.Originally Posted by ca_girl

Has anyone seen this new "barfapalozza" on the J&J website? it's basically a "oh Tommy, you're so fantastic" circle jerk.

Also, from Laura's diary:
We all liked The Simpsons…especially the part where you see a glimpse of Barts junk! So funny
OK, should Evan be seeing Bart's junk? Dunno, but I'm thinking the sight of even a cartoon chararacter's junk can't be good for a child.
Still proving she's Mother of the Year.

A little from my favorite part of Laura's Diary,
"You hurt my feelings, Momma, you hurt my feelings! I want you to apologize!" (said Evan after Laura yelled at her for being a 3 yr old)
A three year old is telling me to apologize for being a parent!
Of course she is telling her to apologize! If you all of a sudden decided to act like a parent ONCE. The kid isnt going to understand, she has not set herself up to be a parent, who regulates and shows authority with her children. She is a guilty, selfish parent trying to win over her children. Why would she think Evan would all of a sudden listen to a stranger acting as a parent?
and jebus, how many movies do these kids go see?

Laura's Diary:
She can't get them to behave a t movie, so she rewards them with this?I'm thinking about doing The Wave with the kids. Not the thing you do at ballgames, but the water park in Vista.![]()
Thanks for just making me lose my lunch.Originally Posted by listener13

I'm surprised at the amount of time Chip spends with Laura. Weekends, frequent weekday events...don't his parents want to spend time with their child? Surely they can't think sending their kid out with the druggie and her hoodlum children is a good idea
Children should not be taken to see the Simpson's, nor should they watch them on TV.
Charlie running up and down the aisles at the movies? He is not a baby, that should not be tolerated. And the ordeal in the car...she should have turned around and taken them home, I mean to Tommy's.
I could not agree more...Laura has her kids so infrequently, and when she does, she always also has Chips. I wish his dads would run accross this site...wonder if Davecain reads us?I'm surprised at the amount of time Chip spends with Laura. Been a long time since I checked into this site. Actually got tired of the pissin’ matches that still seem to exist to this day…’cept with a whole new set of players.
That’s ok, after all, that’s why it’s the drama club! Sorry, I had to go “Dilbert” in honor of Captain Obvious himself.
Looks like a lot of newbies. Last time I was here there was wabbitsd, onleftcoast, lipstick, and boris…he was the new kid on the block. Here’s a link…

FROM MSNBC
ELM MOTT, Texas - "A Navy man who got mad when someone mocked him as a "nerd" over the Internet climbed into his car and drove 1,300 miles from Virginia to Texas to teach the other guy a lesson.
As he made his way toward Texas, Fire Controlman 2nd Class Petty Officer Russell Tavares posted photos online showing the welcome signs at several states' borders, as if to prove to his Internet friends that he meant business.
When he finally arrived, Tavares burned the guy's trailer down."
Any chance I can amend Randy's film list? My Bad...sorry dude.....a bit of humor that's all. What's that smell############
Hankies for "Jake"!!!
Ok, I know Fathead has issues with thinking he's a big big deal here in San Diego, and everyone is dying to know his minute by minute schedule--but if anyone here knows him...please. tell him (for me) that it would be a real good idea not to get so specific about where his kids are going to be at specific times....
I hate to think that there are icky people on the internet...but you know, there are. Not that I am mentioning names...
itz tom...where have you been? are you just out on a short parole run, or are you going to be a repeat offender here?
I agree with this. And also, maybe I am overprotective, but I would not leave a 10 year old boy unsupervised at a skateboard park.Originally Posted by Wabbitsd
I agree completely. I hope Vanessa wasn't in IB alone or just with a group of little girls. I thought rules at those skateparks specifically say that each skater has to be supervised by an adult at all times.
Since I'm quite new to this board, and curious by nature, I went back and randomly read pages from 2005 and 2006... very interesting! Many of you were posting back then, and the same issues with Laura kept coming up then as now: her unabashed vanity, her total lack of parenting skills (I mean her frightening parenting), her naps, the alcohol abuse, etc. etc. Excerpts from her diary were very telling. So nothing has changed, then to now, except that maybe - hopefully - she's not drinking or using.
It doesn't sound like she ever was a good parent and it doesn't seem like she's getting any good guidance or advice now either. If there's a custody issue, maybe the court can force her to take parenting classes or something, but I doubt that will help. She's too caught up in herself to really think through how she's messing up her kids -- one dysfunctional interaction or example after another.
....you forget that these people are "special" - they don't have to follow rules. They put skateboard ramps in their front yard (which I'm SURE is in violation, at least, of CCRs), they TP people's houses (if anything, that's at least creating a public nuisance), etc. And the REALLY stupid thing (sorry for the caps) is that he tells everyone he's done it (so that we all wish we were him because he's so cool). Karma....it'll eventually catch up to him. It did with Laura.Originally Posted by GirlfromOR

And gee, aren't we offering great advice here? And all we get from the alter ego/subordinate identities of these folks is grief.
I tellya.
I don't worry so much about the ramps and stuff in front of his house. Like he hasn't been the annoying neighbor (at best) since the day he moved in. I'm sure he's had his share of singing "Show me the way to go home..." and passing out on his own front lawn.
Boris asked this...and I meant to respond to it sooner...I've always thought it was absurd the way J&J (mainly Jeff) talked about how smart and advanced Charlie is. That kid has been exposed to things that are inappropriate, and way too adult in nature, for his entire life. That doesn't make him a child prodigy, or advanced for his age. It makes him "wise" beyond his years in a very negative way. Children who have parents who rely on them for support, and who aren't treated like kids, are essentially robbed of their childhood. I'm thrilled to death that my son's biggest worries in life are what stuffed animal to sleep with at night, or whether he wants grilled cheese, or eggs for breakfast. Is it just me or does Charlie seem a little immature?
Laura's kids seem to be parenting her, which is pathetic...and I wonder why Laura's mother, or other family members don't step in and say/do something.
No one will say anything to Laura as the ratings are up and the "storyline" is booming. Again, they are laughing all the way to the bank. Imagine her life- No mortgage, no food costs, no X5 payment, plenty of free time.........
who says the ratings are up?
