San Diego - 94.1 FM J&J Morning Show Drama Club Thread

What the heck would we talk about if the show didn't suck so bad? If you're in the public eye, then it is your job EVERYDAY to either perform and earn the listeners respect or flop and get flamed. That's why they paid the big bucks. I could get on the air, get drunk, take pictures of my nipple and sing retarded songs about my partner because it requires very little talent. It seems if there isn't something to ride (Survivor, American Idol, Lost, Becky's House, The SD fires, Breaking and Entering bull___), then they can't create anything on thier own. I want something original and funny....like the old days. Until then, I reserve the right to broadcast MY crappy bits.. :-)

It's crazy how day after day after day, the same people drone on and on about the content of this show and how it drives them nuts, yet they go back for more.

Some people can only find fault and aren't happy unless they are complaining.

The REALITY is the show really sucks these days. Maybe if the producer had more than a high school education and he could create better material than "poo poo", "pee pee", "chicks are cool", uh huh huh huh huh (<---Insert best Bevis/Butthead laugh) then we wouldn't have all this great material to use all the time. Hard to swallow? Then read something else...Tommy or er...Tom.

I second that. The other show I listen to heidi frosty and frank, I have totally been laughing . They were playing audio from Trading Spouses were a woman was telling people to get the "hell" out of her house in Jesus name. She was rebuking and sounding completely nutty. I didn't see the show but was laughing my butt off. I am a christian so being a christian wasn't nutty to me it was her crazy ranting.

Tom doesn't like that show and he doesn't like what gets posted on this board. Maybe ItzTom is the showgrams BFF Tom Gamboa?? that would justify his protectiveness

Just an aside, I really like the Mighty 1090. I probably listen to that show more than I do this one. Like I said earlier, I jump around when one gets dull. And I agree, they do get dull.

They are a week late, Jeff and Jer played a clip of that crazy chick last week or the week before.

I guess I still listen to J&J because they do still have a lot of stuff that I like to listen to. I just can't do it for the full 4 hours! I like some of DSC's stuff but I can only take them in very small doses so I don't mind channel flipping. I think a lot of us are holding out that they'll return to the quality show that they used to have. Someday, reality will kick in.

I've been quiet for some time, because I can't listen to J&J for more than 3 minutes (unfortunately this morning I tuned in for about 2 minutes and heard the "golden tickets" story, yak).

It's the morning after. People who went to the party should be getting up soon.

So how was the party? Who was there? Did Randy propose? Was it as boring as it sounded like it was going to be? Did Jeff bail out early because he hates parties especially since that was one of the main issues that led to his divorce with Nina? Did Kristen look every bit as young as her photo illustrates? Did everyone bail out as soon as the car was given away right at 11:00pm?

Emily was that gal at Poway or maybe Rancho Bernardo High who wanted to be a singer, sent her CD in, J&J liked it, and helped her hook up with a NYC record producer. They also had her come and sing at a couple of events.

I remember her, but don't know what she is up to now.
