I don't know what Emily is doing now, but she was singing commercial jingles for a car dealship on the mile of cars for a while.

I have been on my soap box, read all of Tom's posts, it is obviously, so obviously Little Tommy...you can sort them and read them-that is what I did...I think probably five of us have figured out he is spying on us! Yes, it is the drama club, we are discussing issues, and we have the right to discuss these issues...without being "positive" all the time, Hello!Originally Posted by cadetevon

I don't know if any of you have noticed-Gamboa is nearly illiterate and could not probably post anything intelligent, I saw him getting arrested in a picture about a year ago at a baseball game...did anyone else see that?Originally Posted by JesseeezMom

Seriously, when is someone going to post an update about last night's party?![]()
He won't be up at his usual 5:55 AM posting time, I'm sure Little Tommy could fill us in when he gets up.Originally Posted by Green_Monsta

The "commoners" party was fun, too....especially all the videos of their career from 1988 to present. Also to fun to see Tommy at all different weight levels.
Because I was "overserved" LOL...I didn't stick around to see Hannie & the Sultan chair or to hear if Randy proposed. Was anyone there for that.

Talked to him at last night's party and sounded like he had to put Laura on restriction and that was the reason that had to convince the dress shot to accept payment next week.
By the way...the outfit was cute. She has a great little body and the right jeans showed it off.

Don't keep us in suspense. Did Randy propose or was the ring given away?Originally Posted by Whiskers

What are they like? Which ones did you talk to and what did they say! I want details!!![]()
That's what I'm dyin' to know! Whiskers said that they left before that happened. Jeseezmom was going too. Hopefully she'll check in before too long.Originally Posted by Smitty
Have met them before...so talked to them all. Rick Moorten is a cutie pie and real personable. Tommy was too busy with his main squeeze, the car wash lady. Jeff had his fiance there. She smiled a lot but was kind of lost. Pam, Jer's wife...was very friendly. Randy's girl friend followed him around like a puppy. Laura was Laura....kind of ditzy...her husband is a doll. Now....who did I forget.Originally Posted by krak70

They just said on the radio that he didn't propose and gave away the ring. She said that he'll tell everyone about it on Monday when they post pictures.Oh well....
Did they show them when they went on the Peoples Court? I actually have that on tape somewhere because I was out of town when it aired.Originally Posted by Whiskers
It was funny watching Jer and Tommy fight over who was working for who.
You've got to be freakin' kidding me!!!! The car wash girl is actually STILL going out with Tommy???? After he cheats on her 4-5 times?!?!?! Unbelieveable!!! I thought for certain she would wise up this time!! Poor girl's just a glutton for punishment.Originally Posted by Whiskers

Party was good last night.
Some hi/low lights ...
Prizes were supposed to be given away at 7:45, 8:30, 9, 9:30, 10, 10:30, 11.
Long lines getting into the place.
Finally got downstairs, the Heroes were playing. Was very loud in the ballroom.
Drink lines very long - didn't try a Guzman - and when we wanted one later that night, they were all out.
Drink and food lines very long. For a free thank you party, it was $4 to park; $5 for a miller light; $5 for a carona; $5 for a coat check; $6 sushi roll, (guzman was $4); it added up.
They missed their prize times all night. A little before 8, they had a video montage of all the places they worked (in SD). It was really fun to remember how they looked a long time ago and all their good deeds that they've done. {Hopefully they'll get back to that style} THey they got introduced. Jer looked the most comfortable up there. They were both sweating - Jer kept telling them to turn on the AC.
They gave away $1000.
Back to the music. Around 8:40, the Egyptian guy got carted in and danced with 6 belly dancers. Gave away another $1000
Around 9:15, Jer introduced the rest of the lineup at Star 94.1. I thought it was pretty funny that he was reading their names off the que card. Duncan & Mel gave another $1000. I think it was then that Tommy got up and sang his song -> he made sure we got it by having the audience sing along with him the part ...go take off you little skirt, we're gonna screw till it hurts ..."
More music.
Around 10, they gave the car away. Oh yea, Laura was up there for that, dancing away and .. I don't know ... there's just something about that girl that rubs me the wrong way. They had multiple cameras going, so on one screen they were shooting behind her as she bent down to draw the car name, and everyone near my screen got a good chuckle out of the thong crack shot that was displayed.
Around 10:30, they had Randy come out. I missed the first part, and only caught the tail end as I came back into the room, but I think I heard him say something to the effect that although he really loves her (debby?), he wanted to propose in his own way. So the ring was given away. Since they were way behind schedule, they gave another $1000.
Lots of people took off after this. A different band came on - can't remember their name.
At 11:00, announced the last $1000 winner. People darted for the exits like roaches in the light (as did my wife & I).
Whiskers - How did you get in the VIP party ?

Thanks for the great update! Sounded like fun.Originally Posted by GoEagles
I thought the drinks were supposed to be discounted. If Corona's were $5 bucks, imagine what they are normally. Yikes.
I second OnLeftCoast's sentiment from earlier. To all those here and abroad that have served - or are serving our country...I want to say Thank you on this Veteran's Day.

I didn't go to this party, but I have been to a few of their events. They are never as good as they sound like they're supposed to be. I'm glad I didn't go.
