How 'bout a desperate chump who uses his clout as the producer of a top morning show to get chicks, probably dazzled and scheming for what they can get out of the relationship? Tickets, meetings with celebrities, concert stuff. It's a match made in heaven for both. She gets to do some fun stuff and he gets to walk around with a babe on his arm pretending to the world (and to himself) that she is with him because he is stud. I mean, really, if you'll take a dollar in your g-string from any perv who waves one, why wouldn't you take a few from sicko Tommy? Didn't she get a big ol' escalade courtesy of Little "Timmy?"
And while we're on the subject of morning show producers getting action because of their status, Tommy and Abromowitz should hang out together now that they're in the same building.

Hey, I was driving home yesterday at about 3:45, and heard someone other than Mel......is she still on the show? Maybe I was on Jack - can't remember. But I think it was Star.

This link must be old. It lists Cindi Spicer as being on a noon. Cindi is with US95.7 and has been there for at least the last 6 months.

Cindi Spicer is on right after J&J, maybe she is doing both, because I thought she was gone too and started hearing her voice everyday, right as I was getting ready to turn the radio off.
i guess they have been trying out new DJ's im not sure if shes still on but i emailed her- well see if she emails me back. dont care for the new dj too much sounds kinda old
cindi spicer left 94.1 and is back. she does 957 and 941 at the samt time, so one is previously recorded, im sure to make money for jeff and jer salaries

I agree - this guy that was on yesterday had one of those "BIG DJ VOICES" - and it sounded very old-fashioned......kinda like some of Jeff's tapes from when he was working at the Wooster radio station. Yuck. We've come a long way since then - don't need the big deep DJ VOICE.

i guess Mel is not on the station anymore for all of u who didnt like her even though she is nice. the new guy is mike. her name and pictures are off the websight but she just got some new ones on so i duno if she got fired or what the deal is but shes no longer on the radio unless shes switching to another station? i email her and the producer so well see!

Not sure what happened there - she was doing the show from Hawaii on Monday (I think - otherwise, it was Friday). I only listen for about the 5 minute drive that it takes to get from work to my house. So, I guess she's taking her "steel bending voice" somewhere else (or, she's looking for work).
Weird how they dump Duncan several months ago, now Mel.Why not both at the same time? Makes no sense. But, Mel's voice used to bounce around in my cranium and give me a major headache.
I guess Jeff and Jer needed to get their annual raises, so some folks had to take a hit "for the team".
Okay, on a whim I decided to tune in this morning. After flipping channels last night and seeing that American Idol was on I figured the whole show would be "Idol".
Then I heard them say that they would just talk about Idol for a while and then go onto other stuff because they realize that they talk about it all the time and that we deserve a better show.
Could it be that Tommy read the board and suggested to everyone to tone down the Idol talk?
Did anyone else hear that?
We know that Tommy does.....too bad Laura doesn't (because she could use some of our feedback!)
Oh, and WHEN is that "better show" going to kick in?
I don't think Laura could handle our feedback. With her fragile emotional state and always wanting to be loved, it would send her into a tail spin of depression that could only be alleviated with drugs and alcohol.
Oh wait, maybe she is reading. That would explain a lot.
Ok, I have to say they got me laughing while I was driving to work...the liquid stinky stuff made Randy get sick...I guess I like the old "Make Randy do icky things" like they did in the old days.
I think Laura has built a wall around herself regarding "constructive criticism" such as presented here (LOL!). Anyone who can share that they have a staph infection in their scalp...pretty darn thick skinned....

Laura has become to the show what Jen Sewell was when she was their "intern".......the one that annoys everyone. I guess if Laura were an intern that would explain things.....but she's not - she actually gets paid!
Hey, whatever happened to Jen - I thought she went to US95.7, but it doesn't appear that she's on there anymore. Couldn't understand her statement that "Jack wasn't her", but she went to Country (which she bashed all the time).
I remember when Jen was an intern. I even saved the picture they put on their site of her with the painted on latex top. I'll have to dig it up and post it here.
The funny thing about Jen is that I couldn't stand her voice. I don't mean that in a way that I don't like her. There was just something about her voice that hurt my ears. Like fingernails on a chalkboard. I really couldn't listen to her.
Anyone else have that problem?
there WAS something about her voice...a little too much smoke and whiskey sounding, at least to me, for someone her age.
Ya know, I have to disagree with you two, I really enjoyed the Greg Jen and Sara show. The all seemed like they were just havin fun. Im kind of a valley girl I suppose so I think we related in that regard.
I think Jen looked at it....that at least it was a job and she could pay her bills. But I too thought it strange, since she used to say how much she detested country when she was on Star.
Cliff at KSON came out or a smooth jazz format and seems to have adapted pretty well.
I didn't say that I didn't like Jen. I just had a really hard time listening to her talk. Something about the pitch that just annoyed my ears.
From what I've read she seemed to know the radio biz and what she was doing. Didn't she win a couple of cars for choosing songs that were going to be hits before they were released?
OH THE IRONY! That bit this morning of Tommy going into the Starbucks was GREAT!! He finally smells exactly like what he is.... an @SS!!!!!!
