We were at the west entrance 15 minutes before they opened the gates to sit for the show (45 minutes before showtime). We chatted with a trainer and she asked my daughter if she wanted to be in the show. We were put in a reserved seating area once they opened the gates. Goodluck! I will try in a couple years for my son.Originally Posted by flipper

Laura is talking now. She is actually complaining about how busy she is and she isn't coping. Oh my, she just can't handle having to arrange her new kitchen, take care of her kids, manage a four hour a day job, her little boy can't sleep cos it is so hot in his room. Well, gee, it is summer, get him a fan in his room. She complains so so much. She needs to be like Anglie Jolie and see how people in third world countries live. But then if she were like Anglie Jolie, I would actually like Laura. Alot!!!
I also need to say how Jeff just bugs me when he has to butt in all the time to say something. He just can't shut up sometimes. He has to repeat what we already know, over and over again. Oh, this show is getting on my last nerve. He is just so needy.

I agree - Laura makes me sick. She is never grateful for what she has. She has such an easy life. Her husband must have problems too - otherwise he wouldn't put up with her. I mean she's not very cute (looks like a man in drag), not very smart, drinks too much, can't properly take care of her kids or do anything productive around the house, spends too much money. What is it about her then????
I do listen to 100.7 in the morning. I agree with you. Monique is smart, witty and is actually enjoyable to listen to. Only thing is, I would like more "talk" in the morning rather than the music. When they take a break, is when I switch over to J&J and am reminded why I really don't listen to them all the time. Then I have to complain and that is what this website is about. Right?!

Interestingly enough, she is very knowledgeable about music and does have a lot if input as to what they play. They just need a little more time to listen to their surveys and hopefully Monique will win out.
I have tried listening to Monique in the mornings but she is so sarcastic and seems so negative. And I can not stand her raspy voice. I'm sure she's a great gal but...![]()
I do still love Greg Simms though!
Please don't listen to Whiskers ~~KEEP COMPLAINING that's why I come here is to read how lame they are...hence the title of the thread- Morning Show DramaOriginally Posted by Whiskers

1. I like the complaining....this place attracts the funniest complainers I have ever found...
2. Whiskers, I hate to say it, but you've said it before that you are in the industry...you're pushing a little too hard, there. Sounds like you have an iron in the fire...a dog in the fight.

This morning, J & J are doing a segment on Jer's compulsion with counting (steps, stars, etc.). Once again, they have done this bit before and it wasn't funny then and still isn't funny. They must really be digging down at the bottom of the barrel to find something to fill up their programming. I keep thinking that they are just in a rut or just unhappy at 94.1, but it could be that they're just past their "radio personality prime." I miss the "old days" when I looked forward to my morning commute so that I could listen to the "showgram." Sigh...![]()
Have a good weekend all! TGIF!

BTW Are you on 100.7 payroll? You are always promoting them and the raspy voiced Monique.
LOL, this is the only part of the show I listened to and I decided to call in. Here is how it went:Originally Posted by BecInCA

Tommy: 12 what?
Me: Beers
Tommy: Huh?
Me: (laughing) BEERS!
Tommy: Oh.
Me: Man, this bit suuucks. Kill it now and put us all out of our misery.
Happy Friday all!

Me: Come on, you have to know what I am talking about
Tommy: Hey, what do you look like? Are you available?

I like the fact that I don't have to switch from a current station to an oldie station all the time and get a lot of my old favs. I couldn't stand hearing Kelly Clarkson every 5 mins so this is my cup of tea for sure! Yeah, Jack!

Tommy: What?
Me: Dude, can you even count?
Tommy: Umm...

Tommy: Huh?
Me: Are you really that fried from all the street drugs or are you just this stupid?
Tommy: Ummm.
Me: Your show sucks.
Tommy: Oh.
Good grief....why do you even bother. You must have a lot of time on your hands. You know they are all big losers and their ratings are slipping to prove it.Originally Posted by OnLeftCoast

GreenMonsta & Whiskers You guys are so out of the loop. It's NOT Kelly Clarkson every 5 minutes it's Shakira
LOL!
I KNOW you were not insinuating that I do not know music.![]()
You are talking to the Queen of "Name That Tune"
Sista needs to get ta steppin.
The "real music" you refer to was "today's music" yesterday.
Not that you care, but I listen to all different types of music.
Just not a stale ipod with ADD (100.7) To prove my point I went to their website to see what has played recently. Sweet Caroline-I'm not dissing the Neilster- it's okay to sing very loudly with friends (along with Cracklin Rosie). Can't get you outta my head ELO--uugghh now now now now- nuf said, New moon on monday- Duran Duran- Hold the Line Big Hair went out in the 80's.
I might've tried listening to them again if I would've saw some Etta James.
ps I'm almost 40 also, the AARP thing was a joke in response to the high school/ whipper snapper comments.![]()

I also said I called it to let Tommy know that the bit was suckin', do you feel that I too have no life and need to get over something?
This is our 'safe place' to bag on the show, those who are on it and those who produce it.It's a pretty simple concept really, we like to rag on the show.
