If I had a job that gave me money to buy a new outfit every week, you better believe I wouldn't forget! I promise I would "feel like" doing it every week.

Also, does "every week" count if she forgets to put together an outfit and just so happens to roll out of bed and slop on something that LOOKS like it could be one of her crappy $73 dollar outfits.

Dreamer, I miss all that stuff you just described.

I agree, I'm not witty, I'm not funny, there is nothing juicy ever coming out of the show to share, I can't challenge people about what I'm hearing because as a whole the show is blah. I can't read Laura's diary to draw opinions from, Tommy's blog is no longer around *where a lot of us got stuff to talk about*, so yes my contribution is not entertaining...I post stuff hoping someone will take what I am saying and make witty comments out of them or make things interesting.

Maybe it comes off that I enjoy the show but that is not the case. They don't annoy too much but they aren't entertaining to listen to. I do a few heh's (only because I am kinda partial to cheesy one liners)but I'd much rather be hahahahahaha'ing because I'm so amused by them. I'd like to have a hearty laugh because they did something cutting edge on the show that they haven't done before or have done something horrible to Randy. It isn't happening so in that aspect I'm irritated. I don't understand how they make so much money and do so little to stimulate San Diego's minds...to make every listeners drive to work painless, fun, and exciting....all they are doing currently is making it painful.

It honestly reminds me of the College radio station I was a part of through college. Throwing people together with no radio expereince and having them talk about whatever for 4 hours and stretching things out longer than they need to be because nobody prepared for the show. I think its obvious by Laura's outfit of the week. Who decided having someone describe the outfit they are wearing makes good radio? It reminds me of when I had my own radio show and I'd try new things off fast food menu's and describe what it tasted like and why people should buy it....it makes for bad radio!

well then, I don't think you need one of their clocks, I think you need one of their bosses! Someone to give you some cushy time off when you screw up not only your life but your childrens lives! Someone to encourage you to spin the mess you have woven yourself into, into a heroic tale. While you complain about being forced into rehab...

THAT's the problem. There's no entertainment coming out of those lame A$$ morons who are pulling down the big bucks for working for approximately half of the four hours they're supposed to work. What with the commercials and the lead ins ... "Here's what we're gonna do" ... it's probably seriously two hours of college radio. They gave up years ago, and poor LBM and FH desparately try to fill their shoes, but have neither the talent, nor the humor, nor the intelligence to make it work.

Why, WHY, Sheens, would you be going through so much to listen to that drivel?

Did any of you have a class where the teacher explained that the best way to write a paper was to..

1)Tell them what you are going to tell them
    2)Tell them
3)Tell them what you told them

Which makes sense for alot of school paper writting....

I feel that this is the format for their radio show....which makes for a very through paper but a boring...boorriinnggg radio show.

But to be fair, if you are making millions, to do basically nothing except show up somewhere for 4 hours a day. I don't know if that makes you a moron, or awesome at cheating the system.

Oh I honestly can't hear it for the most part...its background noise for me. I work in a car service department so its always loud around me. Maybe once every couple of minutes I can hear 10-20 seconds at a time. I put my ear up to my speakers sometimes but usually I catch the same bits going on and on and on. If I could fully hear all the time I'd probably turn it off after the first hour for a couple of reasons. They have more commercials then any other radio program I've ever listened too...not to mention the fact that every 10 to 15 minutes Delana is talking about the top news stories *not that there is anything wrong with that it just gets repititive* and Cal Walker or whoever is doing the traffic. I would say in a given hour between the commercials and the repeats of news, traffic and weather only uhm a half hour tops is new material...and by new I really mean recycled material taken from the internet...and stories that drag on...I haven't listened enough to figure out if the Dirt is repeated hourly as well...if so that's even less time spent on new material/topics....soooo annoying I don't think I'd be able to handle it on a daily basis.

The dirt kiiilllsss me. All the Entertainment news they use is usually a day or two old and has already been beatin to death by the media. They dont even have information that is current as of the morning (for the most part, unless it is Entertainment gossip they cant avoid updating, such as the Ms. Spears overnight breakdown that landed her in the hospital)

The only reason I can even tolerate it now is because its new to me I haven't been able to listen in almost 5 years. It really is for me going down memory lane because I have such distinct memories of listening to Jeff and Jer. I grew up on them...the only way I can explain this is....it reminds me of the one year I got a can of guava jam for Christmas when I was 13 years old...at first I was slightly intrigued because I wondered why someone would give meguava jam,but after about 5 minutes I realized the gift was pointless because I don't eat jam. I'm in that intriguied phase right now, in a few days the interest will be gone. I've already realized they are pointless and repeat stuff and thats very annoying. After 2 mornings of listening *and not the entire show* I can probably write out a schedule of what times they discuss things, that's pretty bad.

Plus honestly listening and being able to report whats going on gives me something to do to pass my mornings at work.

Oh no kidding about the dirt. Yest. when I was listening I was hearing things I read about over the weekend. I realize they had a three day weekend but still. Yesturday on my way to work the radio station here does their take on the dirt, called the celebrity scoop *or something* and I heard a story about Heather Mills....no mention of it from Laura. I didn't catch the dirt today so maybe it was brought up but she seems to be a day behind. Maybe Tuesday morning at 10:02 am she does a 5 minute search of gossip and reports it wednesday morning...hence why she is a day late. It seems they play more of the callers with sightings....again it reminds me of college radio.

I used to do the same thing when I had a show, gather information about a half hour before I went on the air...the only differnece is I wasn't getting paid to be on the radio, I did it for fun...if I made anything close to what they made I'd try my best to put on a show people would enjoy. I'd want a husband to ask his wife at the end of the day, so what was the best part of your day...and the wife would respond "this morning on the way to work, that iamsheens is a riot" you know or something to where I made that much of an impact on my listeners. The half ass shows they put together really annoy me for that reason they don't care...

In 5 years from now people will remember them for how they used to be, not what they were towards the end of their career. And sure they were great up until the last few years but they don't deserve the credit they will recieve. They will end up being a legacy in San Diego when at best they should be mediocre...a legendary radio program is great all of their years not 15 out of 20....you know?

Well Tommy's blog is back, or rather he has a blog for the three day...

I find it really gross that two of his toes are still black and blue...go to a foot specialist, jeez...

I guess the mens team is no longer called dudes for boobs either because families listen to the showgram and to the station all day...suddenly the showgram has morals? What about this morning when I heard the nipple song? How does a parent explain small nipple syndrome to a young child?

I think getting people involved in the three day is a good idea because there are so many people who do have breast cancer, and its sad tommy never realized it. I wonder if he even knew the severity of breast cancer till the three day? He probably couldn't look past the word breast...I just don't know why someone would want to do the three day with Tommy. I guess its kinda like the regulars, people want to feel like they are in with the group. Do the walk because you want to make a difference, not because some guy on the radio wants you too.

And based on the blog he has yet to begin working out...but is anyone really shocked by this? He need you to be his friend, to keep him motivated....which is code for...he needs friends.

Anyways a lot of the post is still old posting that could easily have been copied and pasted from his previous blogs all he needed was a blurb about how great his mom is doing and how his kids are doing.

Please, if kids listen to the show, small nipples is the least of their worries, how about a 95 yr old man talk about "schlongs" all the time. *cringe*

Just turned the showgram on, not sure I can listen today, somebody laughs like a hyena...cannot handle that laughing...not how I wanted to start my morning out...

I did notice that I don't cringe at the sound of Laura's voice anymore like I used to. Its just ashame idiotic things still come out of that huskier voice.

ok well I turned it off...I think today is a best of show, not for sure because I only listened for about 15 minutes.

I didn't fully understand what the topic was but people were calling in telling what they had worn this week...wtf why is that good radio? Why do I care what some stranger has worn all week? And why were they pretending to be fascinated by her log. I think she said she has kept a log since middle school on what she has worn everyday.

If I could get on the j and j website from work I'd email them and ask why they are airing this crap, especially if its a best of show. ugh!

I was confused too, I switched over while the mikey show was doing their comericals and it was Jeff telling some awful story about getting stuck in Las Vegas because he is a moron and can not plan flights properly (side note: Who leaves themselves 50 min to return a car and catch an earlier flight...and cancels their orig. ticket? He deserved to be stuck just for that sad move) anyways....then Jer came on and said that Jeff was out for the day.....

...and they continued to do a bit that I think I had heard before (love dr: Girl had been on 5 dates and guy had not kissed her yet, she thought he was gay. Again, sad.)

Thank god the Mikey show came back quickly.

Sorry I did assume, I wasn't trying to make you look bad though. I'm not trying to . So if it came across that way it wasn't meant to be.

I don't think there is any number or length people can post in a day though. Is there typically on forums? This is the first forum I've ever been on.

And Carol, I noticed the same thing they were cutting in between segments it seemed like...it wasn't their organized cookie cut show. Plus Cal Walker wasn't doing the traffic, someone on Kogo was. Maybe thats normal?

If it was a best of show, why would they need the day off? It's not holiday, they just had Monday off. They really can't work more than 3 days in a week? I really wish I had their job.

Best of explains the lack of Laura's diary yesterday. I have noticed she bails out of doing her diary if they are going to be off the next day.

Well that's probably why Jeff and Jer are no longer the number 1 morning show in San Diego, they don't do their job. I'm still convinced they prepare 5 minutes before they go on the air...they probably need so many commercials to figure out what else they can talk about. It's surprising they don't throw music into the mix, to kill more time.
