    New Poll.

When will Randy propose to Debbie?

    a) He already did yesterday in Venice
    b) Not until the end of his vacation in Italy this coming weekend
    c) He'll chicken out at the last second
I don't think he will propose. I think he is getting a lot of pressure to propose from several different places, but I think he is happy at this point the way things are.

If Debbie (that's her name, right?) decides to pressure him into it then he may fold, but she hasn't so far and if she was going to pressure him into it, she would of done it by now.

    Maybe it's Debbie

Who knows maybe Debbie is the one who doesn't want to get married.

Truer words were never said. Just go to any event in San Diego and see what trash people where.

I was on jury duty last week and they requested your attire not include jeans and flip flops. This one guy I was talking to said his wardrobe consisted only of jeans and one pair of shoes....shoddy sneakers. Go figure!

And he was an enginner at SAIC.

Goes to show you that the old axiom is true, eh? especially about that engineer. Don't judge a book by its cover.

Good point. But I remember him saying that he wasn't ready to ask her. I think it was the time when they were giving away that ring.

So it sounded like he wanted to ask when he was ready. I would think that if she said no that he would of said that to keep Jeff and Jerk quiet.

Keep in mind Randy has NEVER been out of the country before. The showgram has pointed this out numerous times. When Randy mentioned he was going to Italy on vacation this week I was very surprised to hear the showgram didn't make a big deal about it. I bet they all knew what he has planned but didn't want to let any info leak on the air to ruin the surprise. How can you go 42 years of your life without vacationing outside of the country only to finally get around to doing it and it not being a special occasion? c'mon people. I bet there will be a HUGE announcement on Monday and when we finally hear what it is after 3+ hours of dragging on and on and on, you won't be surprised. Of course that's only if Debbie says yes!

We'll have to listen to 3 hours of Jer going on about what country he went to first along with Laura talking about what she didn't do on her vacation before we will even hear about Randy.

First I've never been to Chico's-so I can't comment on them, but I took your advice and checked out Newport News.
I know my mom is hip and all~ but she is 65 and she loves getting stuff from Newport News, yes all with elastic waists.
I think you need to check your meds/hormone levels because
all but 2 pair of pants on this page is elastic/tie waists.

You can keep your elastic waist~I'll stick with my trashy clothes and my trashy friends.

You guys need to stick to talking trash....not wearing it. Stick to you bashing of the J&J Showgram....a whole lot more interesting and you seem to know more about that sort of thing rather than fashion.

Also...try looking at the jeans instead of the stretchy knits...like to see you mom get into those.

sorry she doesn't roll like that.

You are so busy being bossy and bitter that you contradict yourself. First you complain about people who wear jeans,
then you tell me to look at the jeans at the "high class" clothing site Newport News.
I guess I just needed to consider the source
that to someone who actually uses the word "shoddy" in a sentence,
Newport News may (to them) be "20-40 crowd, form fitting and stylin' -
FYI there is HUGE difference between 20 and 40

Jesseeez Mom...c'mon over and sit with Boris and me, too. Evidently, jeans (you know, the ones with the elastic hidden in the back) are the hot topic, and you have to wear them to be "non-trashy" according to Whiskers. It gives me a good chuckle every time I think of him/her.

You all should stick to a subject you know....trashing and bashing of the J&J Showgram.

Thanks for the laugh, the thought of you thinking of elastic waistbands and chuckling made me chuckle cause well you know, elastic waistbands are funny when they are in adult outerwear.
We should stop making fun of them though, because without elastic waistbands what would hold up our undies?
Heck yeah I'll sit with you guys- you guys rock

    Laura bugs me.

There, are we back on track now?

Oh, and I tuned in this morning for a few minutes just in time to her a "best of" with Jer reading another urban legend as if it were fact.

Can't these people check out their sources first!!!

I can barely stomach listening to them the first time around, let alone not on the "Best of . . . J & J". Doesn't that imply they were once the "best" in the first place?
    . . . I don't think so!!!

I was watching Padres game and during the commercial break, Bardon's ad came up.. guess what? I heard that nasal annoying voice of Laura. If they want to get any business, they need a better voice.

Well, one thing I can say, when the do the "Best Of", they consolidate work that they've done over a 12 month period, and cull it down to the 15 or 20 minutes of actual, good stuff.

The sad thing is.....I found myself laughing at Cracky this morning on my way in to work. Not because she's all that funny - but it's funnier than their usual, daily drivel.

That show is so depressing.....I think I'm going to get myself a gallon of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and eat it in my stretchy, elastic pants from Newport News or Chicos

    Sorry, had to go there..........

    Hey, even in repeats, LBM!!!!

I usually like the "best of's" but the one today, with Laura at the 7-11 getting her anti-snot nose voice meds and her red bull pick me up....well. not a good one.

    but LMBO at Listener13!!!!

    and another LMB.

hey, anyone know why Drive Through Richard hardly ever calls in anymor? I always thought he was very funny. theyc ould bring him in and switch out Laura any day.

oohhh!! I am so bummed I love Cracky! did they play the Huh? Huh HELL!!! ??
If not maybe they'll play it tomorrow. Chocolate Chip Cookie dough sounds fabulous! unfortunately for me, that would be counterproductive to the gym and I might have to wear an elastic waist to my husband's reunion.

Wabbitt who is Drive through Richard?

  25. #2425

    Lame 94.1 Tent

Went to the Sheryl Crow concert last night and there was a lame 94.1 Jeff and Jer tent...a couple ladies standing in it, of course not J&J or even Rick or one of the "lesser" DJs. The couple times I walked near it, there wasn't one concert goer at the tent, just the poor bored 94.1 employees sitting there twidling their thumbs. So sad...they have no more fans and they don't even care.

Drive Through Richard used to call in all the time. I think they even got him to do a few bits over the phone for them. He has a really deep voice and he cna get really whiney with it...I think Jeff has said something along the lines that he may be a preacher for a church or something but that could be made up.

He kinda sounds like he has been smokin the evil weed for a while before calling in, like no one could rush him for any amount of money.

the one bit I remember him for was he was in the drive through lane at the McDonalds up in Sorrento Valley, where the line gets outrageously long...he suddenly claimed he had a flat tire while at the order window, and he wouldn't move the car. The funny part was the people in line behind him who could neither go forward or backward, and the cashier trying to get him to move the car.

A couple of weeks ago Jeff was talking about him and Krusten going out with his friend Richard and Richard's wife. They called up the guy and it was the distinctive voice of Drive Through Richard.

So was Richard originally a listener that called in and they became friends or was he already a friend that they had call in years ago?

It's been a while, but I thought Richard was a listener who started calling in a lot...they recoginzed he was funny, and they even gave him a special phone number. But that could be the cover story, now that you mention it.
