I've never been there so I don't know. I can only assume that it's not as good as ours! I must say that when he did visit Jagger & Kristi, they were very supportive and same for when we called Greg, Jen and Sara. Also, when he has called DSC, they have been very nice. You wouldn't mind but we were doing an event for charity and we couldn't get past Tommy. I'll stop now while I'm still using my nice tone.

There is a pic of Dave, with Laura sitting on his lap in the pics of Jeff's birthday, posted on their website. HE DOES LOOK LIKE FRED FLINTSTONE..AND ALSO A CARICATURE! That tat does look like it was done in prison...does she think that is sexy or something...guess he can't back out now if you know what I mean! Maybe he thinks it is really sexy.

My policy at SDRadio is to never publish salaries -- and it's not like Dave, Shelly, or Chainsaw have ever called me and said, "You know, I make a million dollars". It is public record that Randy Michaels, former radio head of Clear Channel, spoke of the morning show at KGB making a million dollars and that was about 5-years back. Again, I have never published salaries -- it's a personal thing. Would you publish your salary? Most likely not.

The Union-Trib did a story on Jeff and Jer once on their public record holdings in the county. Yep, it was impressive from the homes, cars, and the other things.

However, they are successful (DSC and J&J). They could make $30,000 or $3,000,000. Don't listen to them because of their salary. Listen to them for the entertainment.

Thanks for the info. I thought I'd read that there was some survey done of top morning radio shows and the salaries the personalities made, and was just curious. It's not like I'm losing sleep over it!

Ahh, Crystal, some do loose sleep over it, for what ever reason. There are salary sites; however the top players like DSC, J&J, A.J's Playhouse, and Mikey .... are above the "norm".

We are fortunate in San Diego to have a lot of talented morning shows -- and talented people all over the spectrum and time periods. To have a successful morning show in San Diego ....

UPDATE: I poked around and asked. The average salary for an experienced radio host is $50,000. Fresh out of college: $25,000. Personal service contracts: $100,000 and up.

Come on, let's stop bashing Laura's looks. Yeah, she's not the sharpest tool in the shed, but to bash the way she looks is just cruel.

She's far from unattractive. There are plenty of women (and men) in radio who are fat slobs, and Laura takes good care of herself. Obviously someone thought she was cute, becuase she was a Charger girl. And no, I'm not her friend, in fact she bugs me!

Laura was never a Charger girl. She tried out and was eliminated in the first round.

Once you get the hang of it, it's pretty fun! She gives us so much ammunition too from her stuffy nose to drinking at kid's parties to pleading poverty while she is making six figures and married to a pilot.

My guess:

I guess I don't get your comment regarding my post. There is NOTHING in my post referring to her appearance in anyway. Unless telepathically I am sending that out and don't even know it?

He's actually an airline CAPTAIN, not just a pilot. HUGE difference in salary there. Published figures for airline captains depending on the size of the airline and aircraft are between $150,000 - $300,000 per year.

Tell you what, I sat behind her at a movie premiere once. The comments she and her friend were making about people coming in and sitting down were many times more unkind as what has been said here. And it was her own station sponsoring it, so it wasn't like she was an anonymous nobody in the audience.

I think J&J are paid way too much for what they do. Since moving to 94.1, I sense from them that they are just waiting this time out until they can retire on all that money. I started to stop listening to them when they were still at 100.7 and am hardly listening to them anymore now. I just don't find them as funny. Jeff goes on and on about himself and just can't wait to get his two cents in about himself. I think his getting married to this "young girl" is way too soon and Jerry is so full of himself.

I do like this website though. It is certainly alot more entertaining than J&J show.

Has anyone ever noticed how she talks about how much she drinks? I wonder if she is on some type of medication as normally when you drink that much you don't have all that energy. She also has a nanny, and that allows her to party it up even more!!

Then why is she constantly saying they are "out of the game" in terms of the housing market. The house they said was rat infested and haunted actually sounded kind of nice to me, but since then they have not been able to afford even a condo? Strange.

Does anyone ever wonder why they keep Randy there? He hardly ever says anything and when he does it is really stupid...like the MacDonald's piece where he thought fish fingers was a dirty word, nasty or something. I miss the times when they did things to Randy on Tuesday. That was hilarious. I thought that was the only reason they kept him around!!

The only reason I can come up with regarding Rick's sudden high profile on the J&J show, is that they are grooming him as Jerry's replacement when he retires. Jeff certainly can't retire. He has too many ex wives and kids to support and in his rush to the alter, he may have another ex in the making . . . and he even has frozen kids in a vault somewhere.

Hey Chris, can you find out when Kristen & TK's contract is up at WJBX. There is still an opening at 100.7 for a morning show. I know I mentioned this before and no one bit, but it's no secret that J&J still have close friends over there.

He kept her on hold and then told her to call back and wouldn't answer. Jeff and Jer tried to defend him saying he answers all the calls for the show and does a good job.. Tommy said the lady was a beotch.
