    Video card recommendations

    What is considered a good brand of video card these days for under $250? Radeon? GeForce?

    Yes.

    Both are fine. The brand is not really an issue. How much under $250 do you want to spend?

    The Radeon X800XL and GeForce 6800GT should both be found in your price range. Check out www.newegg.com

    Thanks for the advice. I am just surprised to see Sapphire, Chaintech and Rosewell cards prominent on Newegg. I guess I'm behind the times.
