    Anniversary help

So my GF and i are rapidly approaching our one year anniversary. I was wondering if any of you could give suggestions as to places to go or things to do so as to make it special. What have you done in the past? I'm also looking for a nice place to take her for dinner. TIA

Here's an additional suggestion for a somewhat 'cheesy' gift, if you want to call it that, but it can certainly be a cute addition..

(I got my wife the 5th year Wood roses, and she loved em )

do you live in CA? does she like sushi? if so, you should take her to Nobu Matsuhisa's in Beverly Hills. it is right across the street from Lawry's and the Stinking Rose. soooooooooooooooo good! That was the best anniversay dinner I have had.

    yeah, where are u?

if you're in cali, then i'd suggest the magic castle (yes damn it! the castle works for all occasions!)

if you're not in cali, i won't be much help in terms of restaurants.

as for my one year anniv present, i gave my gf a framed picture of the chinese symbol for love. and it was made from 100 paper doves (that i folded). she didn't seem to think much of the gift...so maybe that wasn't a good idea.

of course, to make it "special". you could always show her a pix of KY-Nija and say "it could be worse, this could have been me". that's a gift that'll keep on giving.

then definitely, take her to the castle. b/c there's only one in the world, and she's really "thank you" for it.

try citysearch.com, to look for a restaurant .....
choose the type of food she likes and then choose romantic .....they have really good ideas ....in OC and also the LA county.

I would also suggest her favorite flowers. you can call the restaurant in advance and ask them if they can reserve a table and have the flowers there ....

can't think of anything else ......right now

    You could always try this:

    http://www.milehighclub.com/

Book a flight, see what happens!
    I think over again
    My small adventures, my fears.
The small ones that seemed so big,
For all the vital things I had to get and to reach.

And yet there is only one great thing, the only thing:

To live to see the great day that dawns,
And the light that fills the world.
