At the San Diego Zoo again. Their coats are not as furry and white here since it is not as cold as in the artic where they normally live. I think he is looking for lunch. I hope he doesn't mean me!

A little known fact is that their hair is clear and their skin is black. They may not be as white because the hair doesn't have acres and acres of white snow to reflect back.
We used to have polar bears at the Columbus Zoo here in Ohio....but they're gone now.
