Discover had something like that they were offering. I declined. I want my credit cards in my wallet. If I lose my keys, that's enough to worry about.

Is it anything like those supermarket keychain club cards. If so those break and fall off my keys all the time.

Wife and I got them with our BoA account. No thanks...I don't need the risk of my having account information out there like that. Yeah, it seems convenient...but not that convenient.

I had one and put it on my keychain. It broke and I lost it, but nothing ever happened.

    My two complaints:

It solely acts as a Visa -- i.e. if you try to use it at an ATM or in "Debit" mode it won't work. This kinda sucked when I left my wallet at home one night thinking I could get money out with the card. You can't.

Yes, you're covered with zero liability, but this generally sucks with banks (vs credit cards). In my experience banks are leaps and bounds less helpful with fraudulent card transactions than CC companies, and this seems to be a common thread with people to whom I've spoken.

It is indeed a high-roller area, I should show you my credit card bills accumulated over the 4 years I was here for school

Actually, that's more of a smiley. Stupid stupid credit cards...

I'll still be paying them by the time we don't have a keychain (or keys) to which to attach a card (which also probably won't exist then)

I had that Discover keychain thing. Worthless. Just pull out your wallet.

I went to a grocey store, and the ATM/Credit key pad didn't work, so the poor guy had to try and slide that in the register. He couldn't do it because it was too small.
