    Ipod Question

This is all hypothetical and it does not mean that anyone will go through with this. Music piracy is bad and I am no way condoning it. Having said that let me give you the hypothetical situation. A friend of mine has a girl who is gonna go back home for a month and he'll be going with her for part of the trip. He'll be flying with her to L.A. and then they'll part ways. He wants to give her a playlist of songs onto her Ipod. All of the songs that he plans to give her are mp3's on his powerbook. Can he simply plug her Ipod into his powerbook, connect to his itune with the manual transfer checked and simply drag the playlist onto the ipod? Thanks. "My friend" will really appreciate the assistance.

"Oh yeah. Oh yeah. I would do everything to her, I don't care what she looks like. I would wreck that chick."

Yes and no, if she uses autosync with her ipod on her comp it won't work but if she uses manual transfer also then yes it will work. The problem persists when the ipod gets the new music and she uses it in her own computer it won't get synched up if autosync is used. Best thing to do is rather than doing the manual transfer is to transfer the songs in a folder and put them on the ipod as a file. Then she can put the songs in her itunes library and snyc up her ipod then all is fine. Sorry if its all confusing, but you can thank that to the lovely people at RIAA and your local record company that endorse DRM.
