    Angry "Where is the planning?"

    http://www.breitbart.com/news/2005/10/26/D8DG1TAG0.html

"This is like the Third World," said Claudia Shaw, who spent several hours in a gas line. "We live in a state where we suffer from these storms every year. Where is the planning?"

Good question. Where was YOUR planning? Your comfort and safety is YOUR responsibility, lady, not the government's. You want guaranteed access to fuel? Don't let your gas tank get below half full and keep a gas can in the garage. Water? Cases of bottled water are cheap as hell at Costco or Target. Food? Your grandmother would be ashamed of you for not keeping a few day's worth of food on hand at all times.

Governor Bush got in a little dig though: "People had ample time to prepare. It isn't that hard to get 72 hours worth of food and water," said Bush, repeating the advice that officials had given days before Wilma hit.

    Sheeple piss me off.

She says she suffers this every year so she should know by now. Didn't she watch the news with all the other hurricanes? Duh!!

How much water do you physically have?

I'm thinking if you're talking cooking, bathing, drinking, washing, etc., then you must have a ton of water stored.

It depends on how many toilets he has, and whether they are regular or low-flush.

(Note: I'm referring to the back tank, not the bowls. In cases of extreme need, those tanks, though not the cleanest water, are better than nothing.)

    3 - 5 gallon jugs, and 24 - 20 oz bottles.
In an emergency I will be eating canned food that will not require additional water for cooking, washing will be restricted to sponge bath type that should only take a few cups a day.
