There's always this obvious or subtle message:

I know that I am guilty of this tendency myself.
Competition is good and it is a great motivator, but does it have to pervade EVERY facet of life?

Cuz I've never heard of him being on the Wonder Years tv show...I hear if you just have a couple ribs removed, you can pull it off . . . well, I guess if you have the ribs removed, you won't have to 'pull' it off . . . you've got other options . . .

i do have a theory on that though johnny. the bragging is a sign of insecurity.
I don't have any friends that talk like this. Of course, that is because I don't want to be friends with people who talk like this - and there are plenty of those people around.
