Does anyone actually care if you're in "Who's who"? I always got invites as a student, and always ignored it. This is my first invite as a professional one though; I didn't even realize it was still around!

I don't think it is the same thing.
You should never give out information online unless you really know who you are giving it to. In this case it looks like a person who will print your name in a book if you buy a copy.
Biggest ripoff for students. I can't believe I actually bought that waste of money book. I'm glad I threw it off afterwards. Pointless for high school, maybe different for this.

That book amazes me...sure, they will put your information in there if you agree to pay the fifty bucks or so for the book..I remember once when one of my kids was having a particularily bad year in school...we got a letter from Who's who saying he had been chosen..I laughed...what a joke that thing is.
