As you may have guessed by now, I didn't win... Not even close. It was fun though. $1,000 of play money gone in 15 minutes! Wish I could have cashed out.
Registration was by the back entrance and also in the actual tournament room (nonsmoking part). There was a bit of confusion at the registration table, but it went fairly quickly. They gave out bonus jack codes (randomized codes) only if you asked for it.
Tournament play was for 15 minutes and the highest 16 scores went on to the next round. Thought I knew my poker, but it wasn't meant to be.
There was no food for nibbling. However, the top 4 scores of each 16 finalist also got a free dinner. Now I thought I had read somewhere that EVERYONE left with something, but the person there didn't know and couldn't remember.
Would have been nice to have met my fellow Apexers, but couldn't figure out how to ask a stranger if they were a member. Hope one of them is the winner!

I came in third highest in round one out of 32...made it to the finals, but bombed there. The first 4 finishers in each round got a free dinner coupon for Sycuan.
Thanks for the heads up regarding the tournament. I'm sorry that you all didn't win but it sounds like a good time was had by all.
