    RocketBoard Update

    Greetings from RocketBoard!

We wanted to give you an update on what's happening here at
RocketBoard and the status of all outstanding free RocketBoard
    orders.

When RocketBoard launched last Spring, we ran a special promotion
to celebrate, and offered to give away a quarter of a million
RocketBoards for free. Well, we got an overwhelming response in a
much shorter period than expected! Many of you getting this email
have not yet received your RocketBoards as a result. Please know
that we intend to fulfill ALL orders, however it may take longer
than expected due to the order overflow.

RocketBoard is now charging only $19.95 to order from our website.
As any user can tell you, this is a fantastic deal for
RocketBoard's one-touch access to email, AOL Instant
Messenger(TM), search, news, daily deals, games, picks of the day,
and more! You can also program your keys to go wherever you want
online. No other keyboard out there offers such rich content
combined with flexible customization. As one RocketBoarder put
it, "It's a keyboard on steroids!" Please note: due to current
regulations, all website credit card orders will be fulfilled
    within 30 days.

We will continue to update you on the progress of the remaining
free orders. Thank you to all of our current RocketBoard users for
your great feedback, and if you haven't gotten your board yet,
please be patient! It's worth the wait.

    Warmest regards,

    The Team at RocketBoard
"I'm your ice cream man, stop me when I'm passin' by."

Thumbs up That would be my guess.

This message probably signals the beginning of a policy by which Rocketboard will always fill orders for PAID product before any free product. Add to that a 'Just In Time' stocking system for the 'boards (only order 'boards to be built when you have an order) then they can honestly claim that the reason they are not filling any of the free orders is because they are out of stock.

Ah well-- maybe one day it will arrive.

    Rocketboard sucks.

All they do is send mail saying the board will ship.

I think they wanted a mailing list.

I have beem waiting about four months and have received nothing.

    Thumbs up

I got my rocketboard months ago. I really don't think they're some horrible company out to screw everyone out of their keyboards. They're now selling them and they don't want people freaking out if a friend buys one and gets it quicker than someone who ordered one for free.

    Hope you are right.

I guess I prefer to be cynical and pleasantly surprised than to be hopeful and disappointed.
