Since it's during the day on a weekday, I think 60. It goes up to 70 at 3.

62 during the day while I'm at work, 68 when I'm there in the evening and back to 62 when I go to bed. If I don't leave it around 62, the damn pipes freeze (which includes our wonderful hot water fed heater).

Thermostat? What is that? I have electrical radiant heat in my ceiling and it is a high sloping ceiling which means that it has to heat a lot of air before it gets down to me. And the electrical heat is expensive according to other people. The good news is that I live in SoCal and it really doesn't get that cold. And my place does not seem to get cold either when it cools down- must be due to some sort of absorbing the sun and or my neighbor below warming me up. I have had the circuit breaker turned off on it for a few years. Glad I live here! (sorry for you colder climate people- I grew up in Colorado so I do have some apreciation for the cold). I do have a ceiling fan for when it gets hot.

I think mine is set for 60 during the day while I am at work and 70 when I'm at home. Of course now that my wife is out of work, I might have to set it back even further so we can afford to eat!

50 I think. When it is set below 60 it never comes on. I could set liquid nitrogen in a jar under it and it wouldn't come on.

When it gets cold I just power on another PC or two to compensate.

67 or 68 normally during the day since I'm here. Sometimes 69. Overnight, 67.

Oh, and right now it's at 67.

The house is set for 63 throughout the day and I believe goes down to 60 at night.

The thermostat at my apartment, on the other hand, mysteriously gets turned up to like 76 all the time

62, and for the most part the house doesn't feel all that cold. Thermostats here at work are set for 68, but the heat doesn't really work.

Depends on the room. I have cable heat in the ceiling like zippyjuan, but I am in northen Indiana where it gets COLD! Cable heat isn't really more costly than other electric heat provided the house is insulated like mad - and that's what they did when this house was built back in 1957.

Anywhoo - most rooms are in the low 60s, living room is normally 60 unless I plan on being out there - then I run it up to 70 ahead of time (cable heat is slow, er, uh, "gentle") I have a spare bedroom that's shut off and closed - ditto for the second bathroom and laundry room.

Last electric bill was just over $200.

Usually around 67 or 68 in the day with a short bump at bedtime to 70. It's set at 65 for overnight.

Don't have a thermostat, heater, or air conditioner. I live in L.A. Kinda wussy to not be able to stand the weather for me.

I have four cockatiels that literally shiver if I drop the temp below 70. My son (21 months) always feels cold when I wake him in the morning, so sometimes I even have to bump it to 71. My bills suck.

I think it's too dang hot in the house, though. Maybe I'm just cold blooded because I wake up sweating in the middle of the night.
