    Houston makes me cry....

Astros - I can handle that they lost in the WS...though it was kinda terrible to lose 0-4...and 0-1 in the last game.

Texans - Really...need I say more? At least we have the first pick...

And now...we come to the Rockets

The Rockets....where the best player at the moment is a pretty old Juwan Howard. T-Mac...Yao...and 4 other players...out with injuries.

    Must....stay.....strong....

I don't think this'll stop anything though - the better you idiot-proof a system, the more impressive the idiot becomes.

i'm a buffalo fan, you try losing 4 straight super bowls, losing a stanley cup to bad calls by refs, then we'll talk :-P

Each religion has got their own way of making you feel like a victim. The Christians say 'you are a sinner', and you better just zip up your trousers and give the money to the pope and we'll give you a room up in the hotel in the sky.

Heh....I can't really top that because the Houston teams (except for the Rockets and this last year the Astros) have never been to the big show.

This year was the first time in history for the Astros

The Houston Oilers had never been to the Superbowl before they left Houston. And I seem to remember that the Bills went and did a "little" comeback on the Oilers.

But...we do have the Rockets with their two NBA championships in a row...so I can console myself in that fact...

Don't forget that Pujols shot in the bottom of the 9th. That had to be painful!

As a San Diego fan I have also experienced similar pain. No Superbowl nor World Series rings around here, although in our appearances it wasn't even close. But that's what sports are for. They humble you so that when it finally does happen, you feel on top of the world.

I feel you, for the past few years it has been tough to be a Niner fan too. ANd last year the Dodgers went to hell...... But things are looking up for both teams. I'm hoping the Dodgers new team does ok, and that the Niners can again double their wins next year
