Monitor recommendations?

Hey everyone,

I'm looking around for a new 17" or 19" flat panel monitor, not LCD. I've been searching and I like this NEC FE950 monitor. It is 19" with an aperture grille. The list price is $499 but I found it at Staples for $450 and I have a $40 off $200 coupon. However, I was wondering if anyone had other recommendations for NEC monitors or other brands like Sony, etc. Also, if anyone has experience with the FE950 I would like to know what you think of it.

Personally, I feel that NEC makes great monitors. It would be a great choice for the price.
