No, it is basically a Toyota Corolla built in Fremont, CA...

2.6 hours with A/C, 2.2 without, add .4 if power steering interferes.

Add .3 to replace the cam seal, .1 to remove/replace the cam sprocket, .3 to remove/replace the crank sprocket, and .1 to replace the timing belt tensioner.

I give him props for being (at the very least) an excellent diagnostician. He has quickly and accurately identified automotive problems for many forum members, myself included. This leads me to beleive that he is a very good mechanic overall, because you learn these things through experience. I would not hesitate to have my car repaired by him, if I lived near him, because I believe that his skills and character would make him a great person to do business with.

Mechmike is very helpful and generous with his knowedge. I appriciate the effort he makes to help out his fellow forum members.

Anyone with the book can quickly find the hours. It's not difficult to do. But actually taking the time to post it is where he stands out. It was very kind of him to take the time and post the hours for the work on the Geo Prisim. Many people wouldn't bother.
