Did you try using all caps when typing in the code. Maybe it's case sensitive.

Yes, I entered EXACTLY how it was printed on the pass. Anyway, I will register in person today and will post here if there are any problems. Last year, I didn't register my free pass online and just registered in person and it worked. (I remember having to fill in the name and address info on the pass and they took it from me to give me my lanyard-type badge/pass).

Got back from Comic-con recently. Got in with my free pass ok...pre-reg line was very short! Event was cool. Got to see a lot of ppl in costume and see a few celebs. Fun all around.

I had a bit of a problem myself when I registered with my pass last night. It did not require all caps. The cause of my trouble was I mistook a uppercase O for a zero. Once I made that corection, it worked fine in all lower case.
I went to my first Comic Con today. I had a good time but wish I had more time. I saw one movie (Jericho)and two "panels". I attended "Spotlight on Walter Koenig" and "Cartoon Voices II". Both were good. That left very little time to browse.

I came in around 7am to volunteer on Saturday and after waiting in line for 40 minutes they had me do some paperwork and gave me a badge. Then the elite guards kicked me out to wait until the Comic Con actually opens, it was so hot outside. Anyhow, they let us in around 9:30 and I walked around the floor for hours. My assignment was to usher people in and out of the registration line around 1 pm, they had me work for 3 hours and it was pretty tedious. I'm glad it was free and I got to check out a lot of stuff eventhough it was my first time!

Thank you to all you guys who mentioned the volunteering idea.

I'm in San Diego and I'm not going....... Geez, it sucks to have to be a grown up. Before my son was born, there was no way I'd miss Comic-con (if I had the money).
Now, I have the money, but cant go due to 'other' family obligations.
I think my wife did all this on purpose because she knew Jessica Alba was going to be there tonight.

Now I am rambling........ but oh how I would love to meet Ms. Alba!!!!!

    Was there today...a horrible mess

Was there today, and lastnight. Will be there tomorrow the next day, and the next! .. Woohoo.. Luckily I don't park downtown so it's not too much of a hassle. Living in San Diego makes it easier, might be more difficult next year when I don't live here anymore

So????? Do share! What was the highlight of the comic con this year!?

I didn't have highlights the entire thing was awesome. I was there all 5 days. Spent entirely too much money, and saw some cool panels. My favorite was Kyle XY.
