    my cruise....

    beware, there may be some of me w/o much clothing. not too pretty. ops:

    sorry but they are out of order. i'll try and add captions. also, i have a formal pic to scan of my wife and i. it's fairly cool.

    this is some food from the midnight buffet. great food. with i hadn't just eaten a huge dinner a couple hours before.




    we finally were able to call home when we got to st thomas. they had cell coverage. here's my wife talking to home.



    wife on teh deck at st thomas. beautiful harbor. lots of personal boats.

    first formal night. note the burnt face. a bit swollen from cramming food in my face. ops:



    they had a fun night out on the deck on evening. this was at about midnight. thousands of people dancing. tons of fun.



    we travelled with my neighbors and my brother. here's my wife and neigbor in the bahamas.





    some honey jeff picked up. he had girls all over him. lots of people thought he was gay tho. lol.

    last night on ship. a little rum and sun = glazed look and asian flush. hah.





    dawn's strap broke and jeff is fixing it. never really got to see her boobs. crap.

    this is at 3-4 in the morning. deck was totally empty but lit up. kinda cool. sometimes we could see other cruise ships nearby all lit up as well.





    we enjoyed the sun as well as the flowers everywhere on the islands. don't get to see that much of the year here in michigan.

    every night they steward left a towel animal in our room. first night i saw it i was semi-drunk (ok...that was pretty much every night! hahaha)

    eastern caribbean. nassau bahamas, st thomas us virgin islands, and st maartan.


    with my wife being 3 months pregnant we were worried about her being seasick. no probs w/that but the hallway occasionally stunk so that made her feel queasy sometimes.

    I see that you went to Paradise Point in St. Thomas - I think I took some of the best pictures I've ever taken twice there.

    I was gonna go again this March but didn't work out. I'm jealous!

    cool... did you guys see that airport at st maarten (sp?) thats right on the beach and the planes are like 40 feet above the peoples heads?

    Maho Beach. There are tons of pictures like this at www.jetphotos.net.

    My understanding with the sand was that since they land with basically their engines shut off, there wouldn't be thrust to push the sand away, but I could be wrong... I just checked jetphotos and none of them seems like there's much thrust being put on.

    i actually have a video of a 747 taking off from that airport. its pretty funny. i'll post it when i get home, you'll see why.
