School Over Does It Again
Here is another opportunity for a school to disregard common sense. A student created a myspace site that made threats against another person at the school. I know what you thinking, this goes over the line. I agree but 10other students were suspended for just looking at the site. Give me a break. I can understand the kid who made the posting but telling me I can't look at something that you don't like is just plain stupid.

Hmmm...I guess it depends on what the other students did with this information. I know it might sound like it's irrevalent but if they used that information not matter how false it is to intimidate and humiliate the victim I consider it bullying. I would suspend or even expel the kid who made the original posting. From what I read in that link seems pretty threatening to me. Maybe several years ago it was just venting and I would dismiss it with some precaution but these days with the publicized media of kids killing other kids or getting hands on guns I would give him a long term suspension or expel him for the safety of the victim and the school.

I agree the kid who posted it expel him, but the ten suspended for viewing it? Come on now.
