    bluetooth headset

My motorola HS850 finally gave out on me after 2 years. What's the best new one out there? I loved my HS850, I liked how you just open the boom to turn it on, and 1 charge would last me 3-4 days.

    any reccomendations?

    Stick with it!

I might recommend the HS850, that thing rocks! Great battery life and good sound quality. Small enough to go anywhere big enough to find!

I got the H700 from amazon and am pleased with it. It has the same flip open boom as the 850, but is considerably smaller and lighter. My only gripe is in teh fact that it is so small it doesnt fit my big ass head or ears very well, but it works in the end.

I'm looking for a BT headset as well -- I don't like the HS850 since it doesn't fit my ear very well). My ears must be too small for it, as it feels very loose and has a tendancy to fall off if I move my head too quickly).

I had the same experience as GuruX with the HS850 and decided to get the HS700 because of recommendations I read on http://howardforums.com and the improvements it was supposed to have based on Moto's description.

The ear loop on the HS700 must be smaller, because it fits fine; doesn't flop around. The volume is much better than the 850, although not always that great outside with a lot of street noise (i.e. traffic, etc.).

Between the two, I definetly recommend the 700.

The dude who reviews stuff on howard forums says the Plantronics discovery 640 is very good, best yet. Can be had for 70 bucks, check pricegrabber.

Never tried bluetooth myself, but my next phone will have it. My choices are limited with Sprint though, but Samsung's version of the Razr isn't bad. Plus I can get the adapter so I can talk through my car and scroll names on the radio, etc...

i have that phone. only complaint is short battery life. to compensate, i had dim the lcd, turn off as many sounds as possible, and set the backlight to go off after 3 seconds. the backlight part is the only thing that i really mind...and then only at night.

i figured out the other day that phone will let you dictate sms messages. bluetooth works well for getting my pda on the net at high speeds...without a data plan.

my wife's got the a920, which is nice too.
yeah, pretty much we missed the boat on that one. but it's still here. get you some.

I dunno exactly how to explain how small it is... but it's puny for a bluetooth headset in my opinion.

I have the A900 as well... I really like it. The bettery life is shorter than average yes, but it is a damn small phone with a big ass screen. Just make sure if you go out of range of any service you turn it off... It burns through the battery constantly looking for service.

I havent turned any features off or dimmed the screen and I can get about 3 days between charges.

Hmm...maybe I'll wait until the next gen of that phone comes out. That's one thing I love about my Sanyo (8200 I think?) - the battery lasts forever.
