waiting to sing a karaoke song and this twenty-something girl sits at the next seat. We started chatting about a song that someone just sang.
So she shows me her cell phone and she is playing online poker. She just lost $350 in a matter of minutes. She goes on to explain that yesterday she won $1500.
I told her I am not into gambling and if I lost that kind of money I couldn't deal with it. As I was talking, she claims to have lost another $300.
10 minutes later, she wins $350. She told me she is very lucky at this kind of thing and that she is ahead in the long run.
All of a sudden she leaves the bar. She had told me she was playing another round of poker.
I think she must have lost another large amount of money....Maybe she's not so lucky after all.
